Don't forget to use the Kat's Heaters Plug Cover part # KH28405 to prevent dirt and debris from getting inside the connector while not in use. I have attached an illustration to give you a better idea where the right rear plug is located. view full answer...
While we do have a great Yakima crossbar system that is confirmed to fit your 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe, Rhino-Rack does not have a roof rack option that fits your vehicle.
With that being said, I saw that you were looking at the Yakima round crossbar system that includes the 58" Crossbars # Y00409. In order to have a complete setup with these crossbars that fit your roof, you also need the following parts:
- RoundBar End Caps # Y8007026
- BaseLine Towers # Y28TR

I checked with the manufacturer, Kat's, about the Kat's Heaters Custom Fit Engine Block Heater part # KH11812 which is a fit for a 2011 Hyundai Genesis with 3.8L V6 Engine. The correct location is on the right rear "RR" side of the engine as seen in the attached photo. Unfortunately, Kat's does not provide exact step by step instructions for installation. It's possibly removal of existing component is required for installation but that will be up to the discretion of the installer. view full answer...

The information on our trailer hitches come from the hitch manufacturers, and those ratings have nothing to do with the actual tow rating of the vehicle. The hitch manufacturers rate the hitch for what it is capable of, independent of the vehicle. To find the capacity of your 2013 Hyundai Genesis sedan you'll need to take a look at the owner's manual or contact your Hyundai dealer; I Googled for this but was unable to find an online version. If you do decide to tow with your '13 Hyundai... view full answer...
We recently spoke with Curt and found that hitch # C12086 is indeed a fit for all wheel drive models of the 2015 Hyundai Genesis sedan.
If you plan on doing any towing with the hitch the correct ball mount to use is # C45521. For a 2 inch ball use # A-82 and for a 1-7/8 inch ball use # A-80. And for trailer wiring you can use # C56264 to add a 4-Way flat connector to the back of the Genesis.
If you want to use the hitch for an accessory such as a bike rack or cargo carrier then you have... view full answer...
If your 2015 Hyundai Genesis is a sedan, then the Curt Trailer Hitch, part # C12086 will work great for you. Per a note from Curt, all non-trailer loads - bike racks, cargo carriers and so forth - should be supported with stabilizing straps like part # 18050. Failure to properly support these loads will void your hitch warranty from Curt.
This is a Class ll hitch and it has a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening. If you are planning on doing some light towing with this hitch the recommended ball... view full answer...
The 2 inch hitch size is used only on higher capacity vehicles like SUVs, trucks, and sometimes vans whereas lighter duty vehicles like your 2011 Hyundai Genesis only have the smaller 1-1/4 inch hitch size available like the Curt # C11086 for if you have a coupe or part # C12086 for if it's a sedan. view full answer...
The Thule Passage 2 Bike Carrier, # TH910XT, will work just fine on the 2012 Hyundai Genesis Sedan (4 Door) models, but is not designed for the 2 door model, so if you have a 4 door model you can use this bike rack.
At this time there are no trunk mount, roof rack or hitch mount options for the 2012 Hyundai Genesis 2 door. view full answer...
Thule has confirmed the fit of the Thule OutWay Bike Rack part # TH45JV on your 2012 Hyundai Genesis so it would fit. This is one of the nicest racks on the market so it would be a great choice for you.
What makes this rack far superior to the others is the attachment system. It uses only 2 retractable coated steel cables to attach to the vehicle rather than 6 nylon straps like other racks. This makes installation quick and easy and the cables also last longer.
The cables store inside... view full answer...
I spoke with my contact at Curt, and he said that the Curt Trailer Hitch # C12086 is a fit for the 2015 Hyundai Genesis AWD. The trailer hitch's warranty from Curt requires that stabilization straps # 18050 be used when hauling all non-trailer loads, such as bike racks.

The pin hole dimension of the Curt trailer hitch part # C12086 is compatible with a Yakima Ridgeback 4 # Y02458. The fit note you mentioned basically only refers to the Subaru trailer hitches that are 1-1/4 inch as they have a really strange pin hole setup.
The Curt hitch is perfectly compatible with your bike rack.

I checked with Kat's regarding the installation of the Kat's Heaters Custom Fit Engine Block Heater - Cartridge Style # KH11812 that fits a 2012 Hyundai Genesis 3.8L V6 and 4.6L V8 engine and they did not have any type of information that said the exhaust manifold would have to be removed to install this heater. Hello Sandra,
I'm assuming you are looking for a trunk mounted bike rack for your 2015 Hyundai Genesis. We do have one that is confirmed to fit the sedan which is the Malone Runway Trunk Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - Adjustable Arms # MAL84RR. It is possible those bike shops don't carry this rack/brand so they aren't aware that it will fit, but there is definitely one available.
If you have a 5.0 model without AWD you can also add the Curt Hitch # C12165. This will allow you to use a hitch... view full answer...
The Kat's Heaters Custom Fit Engine Block Heater part # KH11812 is a cartridge style heater that fits in a hole in the block of your 2012 Hyundai Genesis. It does not actually touch any fluid. It would just heat up the metal of the block by conduction like you mentioned.
Just for fun...
Heat conduction (or thermal conduction) is the movement of heat from one solid to another one that has different temperature when they are touching each other. view full answer...
I am not sure why they would say there is no need to install a trailer hitch to carry the Hoveround. How else are you supposed to transport it!?!
You can install a hitch on your 2015 Hyundai Genesis. However, the issue is likely going to be capacity. The hitches for the Genesis have a tongue weight capacity of 200 pounds. That is the most amount of weight you can suspend from the hitch. The combined weight of the carrier and the Hoveround would likely exceed that capacity of the hitch.... view full answer...
If you have a 4 door 2010 Hyundai Genesis the Thule OutWay 2 Bike Carrier # TH45JV would work for you, but if you have a 2 door model Genesis this rack will not work for you.
If you do have the 4 door and you plan on carrying any women's or alternative framed bikes without a horizontal top tube you might also be interested in purchasing a Thule Bike Adapter Bar # TH982XT to provide a horizontal top tube for the rack to attach to easier.
