Hey Doug, welcome back! The Leveling Scissor Jack - 24" Lift - 5,000 lbs item # JSC-24-IND and the Scissor Stabilizer Jacks - 18-3/4" Lift item # TJSCHD-24 are going to be made of the same 14 gauge steel. The difference in capacity has to do with the pressed grooves and folded edges in the support arms. Dimensionally they're the same size.
All of our 18-3/4" lift jacks like the item # TJSCHD-24 pair are going to top out at 2,500 lbs.
If you're going for overkill, I recommend the etrailer... view full answer...
The Draw-Tite 75122 will fit your 2001 GMC Safari. The different weight ratings are provided in the event that a weight distribution system is needed.
The hitch, when used with a standard ball mount and ball, has a 5,000 pound gross towing weight with a tongue capacity of 500 pounds. This is called the weight carrying capacity as the hitch is bearing all of the load by itself.
A weight distribution system goes into the hitch and uses a set of spring bars to apply tension and spread the... view full answer...
The method you described would be a great way to determine what length to cut the # H20046. That way you would end up with enough wire that it wouldn't come unplugged when making a tight turn. Securing the wire up and out of the way is a smart option as well so that the weight of the cable would not want to pull it out of the connector and so that it doesn't get caught on anything. view full answer...

I would strongly recommend you replace the rims and tires of your utility trailer with trailer rims and tires. Trailer rims and tires are rated for the additional vertical load that trailers see.
The closest size we carry to what you have currently would be the 175/80-03 size. The overall diameter of this tire is 24.1 inches and is designed to fit 4-1/2 into to 5-1/2 inch rims.
For a rim and tire that comes with this tire size and a wheel with a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern you would... view full answer...
If your Rockwood Roo has a frame width between 24 and 46 inches you would want the Draw-Tite Multi-Fit Hitch, part # 5350. This hitch has a 500 lb tongue weight capacity and a 5,000 lb total trailer weight capacity.
Another hitch to consider is the Curt Hitch part # C13701 that will fit 18 to 51 inch frame widths and has a 500 lb tongue weight capacity and 6,000 lb total trailer weight capacity. view full answer...

You have already identified six of the functions on your 7-way, 1) Tail/Running Lights 2) Left Turn/Stop 3) Right Turn/Stop 4) Reverse 5) Brake Controller Output 6) 12V power.
The only wires not identified were the ground wire - which make sense if you were testing it with a circuit tester because it would not have an identifiable function - and the other is likely the third brake light wire.
If you take a look at the diagram I added you can see the standard pin functions of a vehicle-side... view full answer...
In order to flat tow your 2000 GMC Safari Mini Van you will need to purchase a base plate kit that will provide the attachment point for a tow bar like the Tow Ready Tow Bar # 63180 that you referenced. Howver, since this tow bar is limited to 45 miles per hour I would recommend you use a RoadMaster Sterling All Terrain Tow Bar # RM-576. It may cost quite a bit more, but it comes with safety cables, quick disconnects, and tow bar wiring.
For a base plate kit you will need a Roadmaster... view full answer...
It sounds like you want to flat tow a 2000 GMC safari behind an RV, and you need a flat tow wiring kit to operate your tail lights on the Safari. I would recommend the Roadmaster # RM-152-98146-7 Universal wiring kit which includes everything you need to connect your RV's tail, brake, and turn signal lights to your towed car. Diodes prevent feedback and wire your car to operate as a combined system. Includes a 7-way to 6-way straight adapter cord.
If you only want the tail light diodes,... view full answer...
In order to install the Prodigy P2 brake controller, # 90885, you will need to hardwire it using a 4 and 7 Way Installation Kit, # ETBC7. If you do not have a 4-Way already on your 2000 GMC Safari, you will need to install one first. You will need Draw-Tite Wiring, # 18252. This is a basic hardwire harness. Yellow is for left turn and brake, brown is for running lights, green is for right turn and brake, and white is the ground. I have included a video showing how this harness is installed.

I have a solution for you to to add a roof rack system to a 2000 GMC Safari, but there is not a way to add raised side rails to the roof. Instead you can use a track mounted system like the Rhino-Rack Aero Bar Roof Rack for Camper Shells - Track Mount - Black - Standard - 59" Long # Y02-490B, which is normally used on truck bed toppers made from fiberglass or aluminum, but will also work for this application. This will install tracks on the roof that can then be used to add a roof rack... view full answer...
The Carpod Walled Cargo Carrier with Lockable Lid and Cargo Bag # M2200-01-02 will work with the Master Lock Covered Solid Body Padlock # 141T. If you are looking for a hitch lock, I would recommend the Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # e98880. I have included a video of the hitch lock for you to check out. Both locks are sold separately from the cargo carrier.
You will need a 2 inch receiver to carry this cargo carrier on your 1999 GMC Safari. If you do not have a receiver, I recommend the... view full answer...
The installation of a trailer brake controller like the Prodigy P2 # 90885 in a 2003 GMC Safari van and the parts needed will depend on how it is equipped.
If the van has a factory-installed 7-way trailer connector you may be able to find a pre-installed blue wire (for the controller's output signal to the 7-way) that will be under the dash near the emergency brake pedal. This will connect to the controller's blue wire.
If your truck has a round plug with a cap inside the driver's side... view full answer...
The Rightline SUV Tent part # RL110907 that you referenced is universal enough in it's design that it would have no problem fitting a conversion van like your 2002 GMC Safari.
The sleeve of the tent should have not problem fitting your doors. view full answer...
When upgrading your factory 7-way to a 9-way # PK12906 and # PK12907 as you referenced, there would need to be a separate harness made. To separate out the brake light for that separate pin, you would need to use the Curt Vehicle to Vehicle Tail Light Converter # C56196. This will give your the separate signal for the center brake light you mentioned.
The other couple pins can be configured as you stated for refrigeration or aux power as you stated. For another 12V power, you will simply... view full answer...
