Hello again, etrailer friends Steven here. Today we're gonna looking at the scrubblade shape blade windshield wiper hybrid style 17 inch color blue. So again, this is a blue hybrid blade. It's an all-weather hybrid style wiper. It has dual blades on it. That's gonna provide crystal clear visibility as you're wiping away dust, debris, water, those kind of things.
The outer blade's gonna scrub away the mud, bugs, and road grime, and the inner blade is gonna finish it off and it's gonna wipe away any remaining water and debris for the superior visibility that you need. Now, zooming in here, it is gonna have these little triangular ridges on here. You can see those are their patented scrubbers on the side of each blade. They're gonna cut through the toughest road, grime, mud, salt, that kind of stuff. The blade themself are silicone, and that silicone is coated with the ceramic coating.
That's gonna ensure a quiet chatter free operation and also help to hold up to the heat and the UV rays from the sun. Now the bar itself is a low profile beam blade and it is patented and covered with rubber. It's gonna prevent wind lift when you're driving down the road. All that air just gonna flow over nice and easy, much like an airplane wing if you think about that. So it's gonna hold tight to your window, which is what you want.
Now again, it is flexible as you can see. That's gonna give you the durability and also that flexibility to match the contour of your window blade. Now, as you see before you, there are four different attachments. It also comes with a nice set of instructions. You're basically gonna pick out the right attachment that you need for your particular wiper arm, and then you just simply attach that and attach them to the arm.
Now again, these are blue, 17 inch. You're gonna get one blade with this purchase, again, blue. Yes, the different color than what you've typically seen out there, the black ones. That film could be from a rain repellent on your windshield, but I have confirmed that Scrubblade does not coat their wipers with Rain-X coating. They said that if it is raining, you should use wiper fluid to minimize noise. In a heavy rain, squeaking her and there is normal for any blade; but it should not be constant and loud with each swipe. If you would like to try rotating the wiper 180 degrees when issues like this occur, that can help fix the pressure points and allow the blade to make better contact. All you have to do is rotate the adapter located in the middle of the blade itself. There are two pinch tabs underneath the blade in the middle. Pinch these together and pull up on the adapter and it will come off. Rotate the adapter 180 degrees and reinstall the wiper as you did before.
