Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the replacement battery box for breakaway kits. This replaces the battery case that came with your Curt Soft-Trac Two Breakaway Kit, part number C52028 or C52026.The top loading case is easy to access from above, and it has the tether right here to keep the lid connected, and it has the built in mounting bracket that offers easy installation, so there's no drilling required. It comes with the bolt, comes with the nut, that way you have everything you need to get it secured. Bolt, and then you've got one nut located on each end.Again, this could easily clamp onto your trailer frame, or around your jack post. This hole right here has a diameter of two and 9/16 of an inch, or you could also choose to weld this to your trailer frame. The lid is lockable with a padlock.

Lock not included, but you could pass one through there to lock it. It's weather resistant, polyethylene construction, which protects your batter from moisture and debris.Taking a look at the overall dimensions, edge to edge this direction, just measuring the case portion is about five and 3/8 of an inch. The width of just the case portion measures about four and 1/8 of an inch. The height is about three and 1/4 inches tall. The base of the box measures about five inches by three and 7/8.

The opening, side to side measures three and a half, that's your opening. I'll just go ahead and double check that real quick. Three and a half inch opening. Going this direction, the opening is four and 3/4 inches, and then the depth is about two and 3/8 of an inch.
