Speaker 1: Today we're going to be looking at the ClearPlus, Pro Value windshield wiper blades.Now first off, before you even buy windshield wiper blades, you have to figure out, do I need them Obviously in this case, you can see all the streaking that's been done with the current set here. Also, you can see the condition of the blades themselves. They're obviously in need of some replacement.With them on, you can see the streaking caused by the old blades plus, it's really not cleaning the water off.Now we're going to go ahead and test it again. As you can see, there's no streaking and with one swipe, it takes care of all the water.The ClearPlus Pro Value windshield wiper blades provide a nice even coverage for your windshield so when you hit those inclement weather situations such as rain or snow, it's going to provide a nice field of view while you drive.The two stainless steel flexors is what helps provide that even pressure for your windshield. You can see how nice it contours with our windshield here as we set it down. Perfect.This is made from an all metal, corrosion resistant frame for durability.

Looking at the blade itself, this is made from a compression molded rubber with a graphite coating which will give it superior wiping ability. This does come with a pre installed adaptor that will work with the bayonet, large and small hooks, side pins, and screw bayonet wiper styles. It also comes with a small adapter if the blades won't install properly with the larger adaptor.They also installed plastic bushings where there is metal to metal conduct. This is going to make it quieter while the blades are working.When comparing this with other windshield wiper styles, one that comes up is going to be the Michelin Rainforest blades part number MCH3720. Now the biggest differences between these two, first off is going to be the price with the ClearPlus being the more economical choice.

However, with the Michelin's they do only have one adapter only that will work with all the styles that I had mentioned earlier. So this is a little bit more of a less hassle, you don't have to switch anything out once you get the blades.Moving onto customer comments, Leon S. In front of me we have the two blade and the two adapters that you may need with some of the hook systems. Now the small adapters you only need in certain situations which we didn't need for this one. Otherwise, the pre installed adapter should work with all configurations. After taking a look at our wipers here, it looks like it's just going to be the hook style. So what we'll do is we'll lift up our blade, we'll push this little tab at the base, in which will loosen it up around our hook, enable us to push down, and remove it.

Now when they're in this position, elevated, you want to make sure they don't slam back down because they could possibly chip your windshield. So make sure they stay exactly where they are.Alright, so we're going to make sure our wiper's in a T position, slide it over our hook, bring it up until you hear a little bit of a click, bring it back down to its original position.
