Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a look at this ClearPlus 22 inch winter windshield wiper blade. This heavy-duty, winter weather windshield wiper blade is going to clear heavy snow and ice better than your all-season blades. The large profile is going to easily lift heavy snow and this has a high-grade Leading Edge technology that uses precision rubber slitting for a uniform, streak-free wipe. And the durable large profile rubber squeegee with the molybdenum coating is going to ensure a quiet, chatter-free operation.
Now, this features a heavy-duty steel frame. It's built for performance in all weather conditions. And if you notice, it has this protective rubber, synthetic rubber rather, boot that's going to cover the frame for durability. It's going to help reduce icing and snow blockage. So, this is going to be a very heavy-duty, long-lasting blade that's built for heavy winter weather.
Now, this is the direct replacement for ANCO 5922 and this can easily be installed on most types of wiper arms, including those with the following connectors that you see there on your screen. So, this is gonna work with the quarter-inch narrow saddle, the half-inch small hook, the 3/4 inch large hook, the quarter-inch side pin, and the 3/16 inch pin, and then bayonet. This is going to meet or exceed all SAE safety and durability standards. And again, let me put my tape measure there on that blade just to confirm that this is indeed a 22 inch blade. You are going to get one wiper blade.
And so, this is going to be great if you are in an area where you have winter weather. I don't think you have to take this off during seasons where you don't have winter weather. I think this is going to work well during the spring and in warmer months as well, but it is specifically designed for when you have that harsher winter weather. If you're in an area where you don't have snow or sleet on a regular basis, then this is probably something that you wouldn't be too interested in. You'd probably be more interested and satisfied with just a regular type wiper blade.

Great particularly during snowice conditions here. They are just now starting to streak. Should I replace or is there a way to recondition them.

I bought about 10 pair for a fleet of vehicles. I was dissatisfied with quality. Numerous pairs did not sit tight to the windshield. I went through 3 pair on my personal vehicle and none sat properly nor shed rain properly. Overall build quality was average at best. Would not recommend.

That is a bummer! I see that we generally have good reviews on these blades and I have myself used them in the past without a problem. That being said we offer more then one brand and I say have a look at part # MCH14522 for your 2016 Ford 250. It is all weather blade from Michelin. It has good blade to windshield contact.
Perfect to remove snow/ice from 1998 Buick LeSaber. This is my second order. Appreciate the fast delivery and friendly customer support!

The wipers are the best Ive ever used here for Chicago winter.I recently sold my 1998 Buick and bought a 2007 Montego Premier. I just received blades for Montego. Perfect install and this is the 3rd set Ive ordered over the rears. Wouldnt use anything else.
These are real winter blades. Not the beam style blades that most wiper manufacturers produce and call winter blades, that cake with ice and don't work
will try them today.
Work great, much better in the snow than the beam style blades
Wiper blades still freeze up. At high speed or high winds the covering on the wiper blade acts like a wing and loses contact with the wind shield.
