Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this EZ Light wiring harness. Now this harness has been designed for your 2011 to 2015 Lincoln MKX, and on custom fit parts such as this harness, I do recommend taking advantage of our Vehicle Fit Guide. Simply input the year, make, and model of your vehicle and our Fit Guide will confirm if this harness will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. So this Blue Ox EZ Light wiring harness is basically a plug and play lighting kit that's going to let your towed vehicle's lights work in sync with your RV's. If you're flat towing a car behind your motor home, meaning all four wheels are on the ground, this harness is gonna make sure that when you hit the brakes or turn signals on the RV, the same lights are gonna come on at the back of your towed car.

This is designed to be super simple. You're going to plug your vehicle's taillight connectors, I'm sorry, unplug your vehicle's taillight converters, pop this harness in between, and then route the wiring to the front of your car and you're basically done. It even comes with a little converter box that you see right here and then a 4-way connector. So you're gonna be able to easily hook it up to the RV. Most people can install this in maybe half an hour to an hour, somewhere around there.

You're not gonna have to worry about splicing wires or complicated electrical work, anything like that. So why would you need something like this Well, safety for first of all. Other drivers are gonna be actually able to see your towed vehicle's brake and turn signals. Could be legal compliance as well, because most states require working lights on anything that you tow. And this is gonna be pretty convenient.

This kit's made to fit your Lincoln MKX, those years that we mentioned at the beginning of our time together. So it's gonna be a clean, no mess install. And it's gonna keep your car's electrical system isolated from the RV, so nothing is going to get fried in your electrical system. So if you're not flat towing, say your car's on a trailer or a dolly, you probably don't need this kit. But if you're towing with four down, this little harness is gonna make the whole setup way safer and easier.

Comes with cable ties to tighten up and secure your wiring, along with this bracket, for lack of a better phrase so that you can mount this 4-way at the front of your vehicle for easy access, and some terminal grease.
