Hi, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the WeatherTech bumper topper bumper guard for your rear bumper, and this is a custom fit item. This rear bumper guard cover guard is gonna fit '20 to '22 Jeep Grand Cherokee WL, the new body style, the 2022 to 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe, and the '23 to '24 Jeep Grand Cherokees. Now, this product is made in the USA. It's gonna cover and help the top of your rear bumper be free of scratches and dings. It has a nice sporty accent.
It's gonna add style to your vehicle. I wanna try to show you a closeup here so you can see the material better. It is, like I said, a hard durable plastic. It's got some molded-in ridges here, nice heavy duty. And on the underside, it's gonna have the double-sided adhesive, so there's no cutting or drilling required.
It's pre-installed. You simply pull up the red tape here and that's gonna give you the adhesive underneath that tape. It's also got it back here on the back ridges. It'll just peel those tapes off. You'll push it down on the back top of your bumper and it'll self-adhere.
Very simple, very easy to use. It's gonna be a quick install, like I said, and its impact-resistant hard plastic again makes it super durable. Good quality but should be larger in width and depth
Started coming up on one side 3 days after put on.
I did not find this to fit the 2026 hybrid Kia Sorento. It looked like it would trap water underneath it, because it was not the exact fit. Also most importantly it is only about an inch wide, and all the photos of the product it looks like it's much larger offering much more protection. I'm sure this is good for other vehicles, but with this vehicle it just does not cover much of the bumper or the paint that I am trying to protect. I will say that the return was processed quickly and easily so no harm no foul.
