Whether you're hauling heavy loads in your bed or cargo area or you're towing a trailer, you will often see the rear of your vehicle sag while the front end rises. In these cases, the rear axle is handling not only the weight of the cargo, but also more of the vehicle's weight. Because less weight is on the front axle, the front tires are making less contact with the road. Overall handling - traction, steering, and braking - is negatively affected. But the resistance from Timbren's Suspension Enhancement System works with your factory suspension to keep your vehicle level and improve your driving experience.
The Timbren system comes with custom-fit brackets that are bolted onto each frame rail above the rear axle. Hollow rubber springs are bolted to the bottom of the bracket and hang down to where the bottom of the spring sits, 1" above the axle. The inch of clearance allows the existing factory suspension to operate normally under light loads and standard terrain, ensuring the smooth, comfortable ride that you are used to.
Timbren Suspension Enhancement Systems are designed to work progressively. When the hollow rubber springs are compressed, the convoluted design causes them to quickly collapse along the folds. Once the folds are compacted, the stacked barrel shape increases resistance, stiffening the suspension and keeping your vehicle level.
Each hollow rubber spring works independently to support the driver's side or passenger's side of your vehicle. This is helpful when you swerve or make sharp turns. Each spring is activated when it is needed, so body roll is greatly reduced. The independent action also works well when you are hauling off-center loads.
Because the vehicle handles better with the springs, less turbulence will be passed along to the trailer, and this helps to keep the trailer in line. Your driving comfort is further enhanced if the trailer does begin to sway (from a gust of wind or a passing semi), because the movement from the trailer is not transferred to your vehicle. This also works to make the sway subside more quickly.
Another great feature of the rubber construction is that the springs absorb most of the road shock, creating a smoother, more stable ride overall when loaded. Wear and tear on the factory suspension is also lessened because the rubber springs work to prevent bottoming out on rough roads.
Timbren's Suspension Enhancement Systems are much easier to install than air springs - there are no air hoses to run, no compressors or gauges to hook up, and no manual adjustments to make. The rubber construction makes Timbren's springs more elastic than similar products constructed of microcellular urethane. And more elasticity allows for a more comfortable ride when loaded or towing because the rubber has more travel.

It is designed to fit the 2002 to 2019 Ford F-53 chassis vehicles. And on a custom fit part like this one, I do recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, putting your year and model vehicle, and it'll show you if this will work for your application. Now these parts here will improve the suspension, the handling and safety of your vehicle.
These do provide additional support as needed. So you always have a nice, smooth, comfortable ride. Basically, it allows the leaf spring ample movement while cushioning any light loads. And it does not affect the empty ride of the vehicle. Basically, it'll become more rigid as more weight is added.
It increases stability, provides great performance while hauling heavy loads. And it'll even reduce vehicle sag. And what's nice with these is they do work independently side to side. They'll help compensate for any off-center loads. They do reduce body roll when you're swerving or turning corners.
And they'll actually act as shock absorbers also, taking the brunt of the bumps in rough roads. This does extend the life of your vehicle suspension. Now it does include these two AE-on hollow rubber springs, all the vehicle-specific mounting brackets with the hardware, even a nice set of instructions that describes how everything goes together. And when you do install these, these do replace the axle bump stops on the frame. There's no drilling required.
A few specs on this, the capacity on this kit is 8,600 pounds. Now the Timbren Springs will not increase your vehicle's weight carrying capacity. So you do always wanna make sure not to exceed the manufacturer's recommended weight limit. And this is designed to work with a suspension system that is in good working order. Install was amazingly easy on 2015 Chrysler TnC. Ride height is much better under load. No issues.

The Timbren arrived within one week of ordering them. I installed them myself. They were a little more difficult to install than I anticipated. I am happy with the performance.
Real easy to instal and help with the sag when towing my trailer. Ride a bit stiffer when not towing but that is to be expected and not that bad.
Sold vehicle shortly after install,never got a chance to use it. But the install was very easy and product was high quality.

These things work great. Un loaded still have a factory ride. Super easy install.
It is just I needed short of putting in a air bag system complete with compressor at a lot more money and it is maintenance free.

Highly recommend this product. It's made a huge difference in the handling of our camper. It causes a little tighter ride when not hauling but the pluses are worth it.
It performed as expected with greater loads but the vehicle ride is rougher with larger bumps without a load on the truck.

great easy fix for load carrying squat! easy install,. no noticeable change with ride quality either. I will install on my 3/4 ton as well!
Took my 2007 Dodge Ram to a local shop to have Timbrens installed. I watched the sales man look up the price on his monitor. He then quoted me an installation charge of over $150, so I called etrailer and asked how hard they were to install myself. They walked me through installation and shipped the product to my door.
