Video Transcript for A Closer Look at the Pacer Performance Hi-Five Truck Cab Light Kit

Jeff: Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at the pacer performance Dodge style hi-five truck cab light kit for a quantity of five lights.Now these cab lights will give your truck a big rig look, makes it more visible on the road. And these are designed to be styled, just like the 1999 to 2002 Dodge factory roof lights. This set will include the five clearance lights. You can see they are a nice, clear lens. They cover these incandescent amber bulbs, and these bulbs are replaceable.

They are a number 194 type fault. The bases on it or a chrome plastic face. Comes with the foam gasket for sealing. Now it does include the toggle switch and the wiring. It makes it very easy to control the lights from inside your cab.

It's a very simple installation on the roof of your truck. The light bases you can see are designed to conform and seal to flat or curved surfaces. It does come with the wiring you need; the quick splice connectors, the hardware you need to install them, and a nice set of illustrated instructions are included. Now, drilling is required. They are universal fit.

They do meet the SAE specifications.The dimensions on the lights themselves. If we look at the length, it's going to be right at five and a half inches. Width at the widest point is three and one eighths inches. And the highest when they're installed is right at one and three eights inches tall.Now, what I want to do is I did put a bulb in the wiring in this one. We're going to hook it up to some 12 volt power just to show you what they look like.

So you have your black ground wire and then your red power wire. So if I take our ground wire, we'll go ahead and hook that up. And we take our power wire and go ahead and hook that up. And what I'm going to do is go ahead and turn on the 12 volt power. And you'll be able to see. There's the amber bulb lit up, if I go ahead and turn off the overhead lights. And now you can see how these amber lights would light up and give you the clearance lights on top of your roof.
