This 1141/1156/1003 bulb has a BA15S base which is the same base that is on the following light bulb types:
Color temperature refers to the color of the light emitted by a bulb or lamp. This light is ranked on a scale of 1,000 to 10,000 Kelvins (K), which gives you an idea of what color the light will be. These ratings are generally grouped into warm white and cool white classifications. This bulb is rated at 5,500 K, providing a cool white light.

Jeff: Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at these cool white directional 1003, 1141 and 1156 LED bulbs, with the single contact bayonet base. And it is for a quantity of two bulbs. As you can see, these are LED flat bulbs, which will upgrade or replace the 1003, 1141 and the 1156 light bulbs to provide nice, cool white lighting. These are great for top mount or overhead applications. They are directional design.
You can see that it provides a 180 degree focus lighting. It is a 12 volt bulb, so it does have many applications on your RV trailers, boats, and your vehicle. The LEDs they use make great replacements for incandescent bulbs because they're rated up to 50,000 hours. They are more efficient because they'll provide brighter light with less power output. And of course no bulbs to replace or brittle filaments to break.
Now, at the end of this video, I am going to hook this up to some 12 volt power to show you how bright they are.These bulbs are compatible with dimmable fixtures for simple adjustment of light brightness. They do offer built-in surge protection to safeguard internal electronics. And as we mentioned, it's a single contact bayonet base, which will install into a compatible 15 millimeter socket, with a pushed and twist turn. It is a non-polarized design for easy installation. In other words, you could put it in either direction, it'll still light up.Few specs again.
It's for two flat bulbs. The measurement on the bulb itself, the width of it is one and three-eighths inches wide. The height from right here to the very top is two inches tall. Light output is 165 lumens. The bulb type again is 1003, 1141, 1156.
The base type is BA 15S. Light type is cool white, and the color temperature is 5,500 kelvin. There is 15 LEDs per bulb. Wattage is 1.3 Watts, and it is designed to replace up to a 15 watt halogen bulb. The power draw at 12 volts is 0.11 amps.So what we're going to do now is show you how bright it is. Hook some power up to it. Let's go ahead and hook the bayonet base up to the power there. You'll see when I take our ground and touch it, that'll light up the bulb for you. So I'm going to go ahead and turn off the overhead lights. Go ahead and light it up, and you can see the nice, cool white color. Again, 15 LEDs, and you can see how it gives you the 180 degree focus lighting. There we go. Very bright bulb. Go ahead and turn back on our overhead lights. Disconnect our power. But that should do it for the review on these cool white directional 1003, 1141, and 1156 LED bulbs with the single-contact bayonet base for a quantity of two.

Make sure the base lines the leds up correctly, mine almost did not fit in my fixture. The amount of light was perfect for what I was looking for.
I replaced all interior bulbs in my horse trailer. These are a perfect fit thanks to a question answered by ETrailer prior to ordering. They do not generate heat the heat produced by the old style bulbs. Since they are warm white I did not have glare or starkness.
Much brighter than an incandescent bulb and uses 1/5 the power! The only reason it did not receive 5 stars is because one of the six I purchased was improperly clocked relative to the bayonet pins. This caused it to be ~30 degrees off of proper orientation. Since this is directional (light emission on one side), you need the bayonet lugs to be on the correct position for the emission surface faces out. The problem bulb was still useable, just not optimal.
I love this concept of a flat panel array of LED's instead of a rectangular five sided tower array. Why? because only one side is where you can get efficient use of it! Led's on the back have to be reflected by something shiny in your fixture. With these every LED is working for you. Without "shore power" you want the most efficient use of minimal power possible. There is one caveat to these: the panel and the bayonette-pins are oriented on the same plane which is excellent if your receptacle base pin slots are oriented to receive them, that is , if there is enough room to push the light in and rotate it near enough to the horizontal position. Some of mine were, some were not. I knew how to remedy the problem because I am in the manufacturing trade. Check the orientation of your lamp sockets first: the socket slots must end up parallel to the ceiling or wall for proper fit. If not you may have to use the tower style instead.
Lastly, it is imperative that you have LED's like these that are protected against energy swings that will ruin them (beware of competitor cheap unprotected LED's). I would give these a perfect five if I was cautioned as a newbie buyer the socket orientation prerequisite. Buy these and enjoy the improved lighting and longer time with out charging your battery!
