This 1" round amber light uses a single LED that outshines old incandescent bulbs while drawing only 0.082 amps at 12.8 volts. You get more brightness with less power draw and no fragile filaments to worry about. The LED lasts up to 50 times longer, so once it’s in place, you can forget about bulb changes. It installs using a simple recessed mount with an included gasket—just cut a 3/4" hole where you want it, plug in the 2-wire pigtail with 0.18 male bullets, and you’re set. It sits flush for a clean look that won’t snag or stick out.
The amber lens and housing are made from tough polycarbonate that stands up to bumps, weather, and UV exposure. It’s DOT compliant for safety, PC rated for performance, and carries a lifetime warranty on the LEDs—proof that it’s made to keep shining mile after mile.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Optronix LED clearance and side marker light. This is a small, round trailer light that's going to function as both a clearance light and side marker light when properly mounted. It's going to feature a sonic-ally sealed design, so it's got a waterproof housing, and the unit is submersible. This is an LED system. LED's are going to make great replacement for incandescent lights. They last longer.
They burn brighter. They're more efficient. You don't have to replace bulbs, and you don't have to worry about brittle filaments. It's an amber lens. It's going to be constructed using a poly carbonate construction when it comes to the lens and housing.
Really nice strong, durable design. This is designed to be a recess mount installation with the included rubber gasket. Installation's going to require a three quarter inch diameter hole at the desired mounting location. We do offer a theft deterrent locking ring. Here at etrailer.com.
It is sold separately, so if you're interested in that, you can check that out. The wiring on the unit's a two wire pigtail, so you're going to have your white wire for ground, black wire for power. Then it's going to have the wire casing that keeps those together and protected. Then it's going to have the 0.18 male bolts 00:01:09 on here. Those can be cut off, and you can expose the wiring for hard-wire applications if desired. It is Department of Transportation compliant.
This is a PC rated light. When it comes to a few of the dimensions, I want to take a diameter measurement here at the part of the light that would be visible. That's going to give us a diameter of right around one inch, then the overall depth of the light . Looks to measure around 7/8ths of an inch. Now it's going to contain one diode, or one LED. We're going to go ahead and hook it up to our actual power source that we can see what it looks like with power running to it. The power draw for this light at 12.8 volts is 0.082 amps. You can see here that the light sends out a really nice, consistent signal. It's a bright light. Again, one LED, and this light is going to function as a side marker light and a clearance light when properly mounted. Optronix is also going to put a lifetime warranty on the LED. That's going to do it for today's look at the Optronix LED clearance and side marker light.

I want to thank you for all your help with my trailer you were more helpful than you realize. So this is my trailer for a 22' Flats Cat shallow draft Catamaran. I totally dismantled my trailer and buffed by hand with a wire buffer and sand blasted in some spots and applied multiple coats of some very expensive galvanize paint (Z.R.C.). I installed all new C. E. Smith Carpet (about 80'), seven new LED waterproof lights, new springs, new equalizers, new tongue jack, new wench, new safety chain, new chain brackets, all new SS hardware and a 35' long wiring harness.
I was able to send only one review with a picture of the safety chain and brackets. I'm having a little trouble with the rest..oh some of these items were bought locally or from your competitors, until I found ETRAILER. Your prices were cheaper for the exact same things. The hardware was all mismatched. It should have been stainless steel hardware to prevent a bad ground over time. The bolt was a metric grade 5, and the nut was grade 8, the screws that hold the light to the mounting bracket are stainless.

Installation is super easy. Much better than the flush plugs on the other options models. Lights brightly.

Ordered the LED trailer pucks. They came really quickly, and the bonus was they already had dielectric grease on the female contacts and ready to install. I was pleasantly surprised.
The lights went on easy with one positive wire and ground. Being led makes it brighter than my old lights
Had trouble tracking these specific lights down online. I have bought a few things from etrailer before and they always deliver exactly as advertised. These are a direct replacement for the lights that I had which seemed impossible to find!
The light works excellent. Unfortunately after I took the old one off I realized that the original was never wired up correctly from the factory lol. New light is much brighter so I might go ahead and replace the other two. Received very quickly.
