Loading toolboxes, heavy machinery, and other gear into your enclosed trailer can beat up a bare floor fast. This diamond plate flooring adds grip underfoot and protects against wear, spills, and tracked-in messes.
Dragging ramps in, rolling toolboxes, or stepping in with wet boots beats up a bare trailer floor. This roll installs as a single sheet cut to a set size for many enclosed trailers and toy haulers, so you are not measuring and ordering by the foot. Once installed, the flooring takes that contact instead of the subfloor underneath. That prevents long-term wear to the subfloor. This also works in toy haulers and RV cargo areas where gear, mud, and water get tracked inside. The diamond plate pattern gives the floor a uniform, finished look instead of exposed plywood or metal, and it also works in garages where you want a surface that handles tools, vehicles, and spills.
The diamond plate pattern puts grip under your boots, which prevents slipping when the floor is wet or dusty. The shape keeps the surface usable for rolling toolboxes, carts, and equipment across it without catching on raised edges. Dirt, mud, and spills wipe or rinse off instead of soaking into the floor.
The fiber backing gives adhesive something to grip into during installation. After trimming the roll to fit, adhesive is spread across the subfloor and the flooring is set into place. It installs over wood, metal, or concrete subfloors once the surface is cleaned and prepped. This keeps the material from shifting or lifting over time. This is a glue-down installation, which keeps the flooring from shifting under load or during transport in trailers and other mobile setups.
This flooring adds a thicker layer between your cargo and the subfloor. That layer takes the contact from dropped tools and repeated loading, while the surface blocks water, stains, and common shop or vehicle chemicals from reaching the floor underneath. It also adds a slight buffer underfoot compared to standing directly on wood or metal. This gives you a durable surface that handles daily use without wearing into the original floor.

How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and today, we're taking a look at the G-Floor universal polyvinyl garage flooring. Anytime you have a workshop, garage, or space where you want something that gives a little bit more shock absorption and make cleanup easier and just protect the concrete garage floor underneath, this is gonna be one of the easiest ways to get it going. So we're gonna take a closer look at our flooring here and see what it does for us. Our universal flooring has the Diamond Tread pattern on it, so it's modeled after diamond plate, so it gives you that nice industrial look. And as far as the thickness of your material is right at 75 mil. Underneath, there is kind of like a cloth-felt backing on here that's not gonna stick or rub and actually helps it stay secure to position.
So that's actually really awesome with this as well. As far as our dimensions, we're 8 foot, 6 inches wide, and the length goes all the way up to 18 feet. Now, when we unrolled this initially, the corners kind of curled up a little bit, but over the weekend, without anything on top of them, they actually relaxed and laid flat. It wouldn't be a bad idea when you're unrolling this and positioning it to have a second set of hands to kind of assist in that process. But if you wanna wrestle with it solo, you absolutely can get it done.
Having rubberized garage floors can also help limit the amount of garage floor repairs that you're gonna have in a workshop environment. So if you have a concrete floor, it's not unlikely for you to drop tools. This guy right here is a 1 and 3/4 inch wrench that I snatched from over at the shop. And I'm gonna drop it a few times just to get an idea of how well it's gonna hold and protect our floor here. I'm just gonna drop it right here, maybe five or six times.
(wrench clanks) So as you can see, it absorbed the shock and, you know, help protect the floor from that type of damage. Our flooring is made of a polyvinyl material with a polyester back that's gonna allow it to be waterproof completely. So you don't have to worry about spills as far as just regular water drinks beverages, but if in a shop environment, transmission fluid oil, or you can even have blood, gasoline, or anything that may be on that surface and clean it up easily using regular detergent. Another thing that, just in general, when you have rubberized flooring, it's gonna give you a additional level of cushion on your feet. Especially if you're standing up in a shop, this is gonna make it so much better on your feet.
'Cause right here at etrailer, we have concrete floors in our studios where we're pulling these cars in, and I can tell you firsthand, standing on something rubberized, it's a great relief over hard concrete floors. The different options that we have available here at etrailer is the Diamond Tread pattern right here that matches diamond plate. We have our Levant that's usually used in toy haulers where you're gonna share a living space with the car or somewhere where you want something a little bit more forgiving on your feet. You also have your textured Coin, and that's gonna work for areas where you're going to have liquids where it may be slippery. And then you have your standard Coin that works real well for workshops and hobby areas as well as your home garage. Now, as far as being capable to work with your creeper, you can see it's a little bumpy, but it works just fine for you to get underneath a vehicle to do your oil changes or anything that requires you to be on your back. To help illustrate the scale of the floor protector, I brought in our 2024 Ford Expedition. And you can get an idea that well, even with a full-size SUV, you're gonna have complete coverage of the vehicle on the mat. So this has been a look at the G-Floor universal garage floor covering. This is Ed with etrailer.com. Have a great day.

Arrived quickly, Installed quickly, works wonderfully as the new floor for our family/scout van. No more concerns about spills, mud, or messes.
Shipped and received very quickly. It was very easy to install. In stalled in an 8 X 26 trailer. I did rent a 100 lb roller to ensure there were no bubbles. I used to G Floor glue (putting the glue down wa
s the hardest part, and that wasn't hard). I only installed the G Floor on 18 feet of the trailer.
I will be installing two Biker Bar motorcycle hold downs.
I highly recommend the G Floor mat and E Trailer.
