If your vehicle is stuck in off-road terrain and has lost the traction it needs to escape, this recovery strap will help pull it free. The strap is designed to stretch and recoil. This means that when it is put under tension, the strap stretches until snapping back to its resting length, "slingshotting" the vehicle out of its jam.
This recovery strap has a chain lead and hook at either end for securing to the tow vehicle and the recovery vehicle. Once the strap is attached, slowly move the recovery vehicle away from the stuck vehicle. This will initiate the stretch and recoil action and pull the stuck vehicle free.

Hello, neighbors. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at the Ericsson recovery strap with chain leads and hooks. Now folks, this recovery strap is gonna work great to release your stuck vehicles or equipment. The nice chain leads with the hooks here are gonna either, they hook on both sides, but it's an easy attachment to whatever you're pulling out. It's got a high tenacity nylon overlay.
It's gonna prevent wear on the pull area, so it's been triple stitched here, quadruple stitch, whatever, so much stitching there, and you've got a nice elastic band here. When everything's all done, you can wrap everything up and keep it nice and secure in one big pile. Now it does have that nice heavy duty webbing. It does stretch an additional 10% once it's taut, and that'll help slingshot your vehicles out. Now the strap is 3 inches wide and 25 feet long overall.
The webbing strength is rated at 10,000 pounds per inch of width, and the brake strength is rated at 18,000 pounds. Now the max vehicle weight is only rated at 9,000 pounds, so make sure you're not exceeding those limitations. Make sure you're staying safe out there. Again, you've got the stitching here. Everything here is very, very rigid and secure and allows you to do your recovery with these.
