Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this BulletProof Hitches medium-duty shackle hitch for your two inch trailer hitch receiver. Now this medium-duty receiver is going to give you an attachment point for a strap, a cable, or a rope. This is gonna work well as a recovery solution for like a Jeep, a side-by-side, or a UTV. This has a weight capacity of 14,000 pounds. And this can be mounted in the vertical position, as I have it now, or the horizontal position, just like that.
So it's gonna be very easy to switch that around, whichever way is gonna work for you. And you've got the holes there on all around the shank. So, again, very easy to swap that orientation. This 3 1/4 of an inch thick D-ring shackle is secured by a 7/8 of an inch threaded pin. So the shackle can be quickly and easily removed by unthreading the pin.
The shackle diameter is about 1 7/8 inches. And the distance between the shackle pinhole and the hitch pinhole on center is about 5 1/2 inches. This is finished in the signature black textured powder-coat as other BulletProof Hitch products. So it's gonna hold up really well for you. It's gonna be very durable, just like all of BulletProof Hitches products.
And an added bonus is the hitch and pin, the hitch pin and clip rather, are included with this. And this does meet the Department of Transportation specifications.
