This base plate keeps the front of your vehicle looking clean when you’re not towing. The tabless design gets rid of any obtrusive crossbar or protruding brackets, so nothing sticks out past the bumper. The removable arms stay on your tow bar, and high-density polyethylene receiver covers snap in place to keep out dirt and debris. That makes it easier to slide the tabs in and out later without them seizing up or sticking.

Connecting the tow bar is quick and secure. Each arm slides into the receiver, twists to lock, and locks again with a pull pin for extra security. To disconnect, you just remove the pin, twist, and slide the arm out—no wrestling or lost parts. The bracket spacing is 22" center-to-center with an 18" bracket height, so you can plan your tow setup confidently around those measurements.
The solid steel base plates spread towing forces across the chassis to help reduce strain on the suspension. It’s a sturdy, dependable setup for long-distance towing that stays tight and true after miles on the road. The simple bolt-on installation means no welding is required, and all hardware comes in the box ready to go.
If you already own a tow bar setup, you won’t have to start over. This base plate works with all Demco Victory Series tow bars and can adapt to other brands using the correct adapter (sold separately). Blue Ox tow bars don’t need any adapter at all. The included electrical bracket makes it easy to mount a round connector plug right on the front for a tidy wiring setup that’s ready whenever you are.

The Demco base plate for our 2025 Jeep Gladiator is still the best choice out there. It required no drilling or cutting and is easily swapped out as we lease our Jeep and need to put it on the next Jeep every year. Also very easy to hook up and very robust construction.

Hey Richard, great feedback on the heavy duty mount I can send that along to Demco. Sounds like you have been to some awesome places between all those miles. Is there a place you would consider a must go to that you have traveled to?

1.5 years later, 15k miles later, zero issues with baseplate, still estatic about the maverick as a toad
