When you need to keep your gear safe from both thieves and storms, this cover delivers. The RetraxONE XR is built from a single piece of Lexan polycarbonate reinforced with 5/8" thick aluminum I-beams spaced every 4-3/4". It can handle up to 200 lbs of evenly distributed weight and performs in temperatures from -50°F to 200°F without cracking or warping. The matte black finish is UV- and scratch-resistant, while weather stripping and foam seals around all edges keep rain, snow, and dust out of the bed so your cargo stays dry and protected.
Getting to your cargo shouldn’t be a fight with straps or snaps. This manual retractable tonneau rides on sealed ball-bearing rollers, so it glides open and closed without lubrication or binding. You can secure it at any point along the rails with the built-in locking handle—great for covering smaller gear up front while hauling taller items in the back. When fully opened, the cover rolls into a compact 13-1/2" deep by 12" tall canister with a spiral track system that keeps the slats from rubbing together. The angled bottom of the canister leaves more room underneath for tools or long cargo.
Hauling bikes, kayaks, or ladders is easy thanks to the integrated Trax Rail System. The accessory T-slots accept most T-slot-compatible racks from Thule, Yakima, and Rhino-Rack, letting you mount crossbars or a ladder rack above the cover without interfering with its movement. You can keep the bed secured with the cover closed while still carrying extra gear on top, freeing up space inside for other cargo.
A cover that works hard doesn’t have to look bulky. The RetraxONE XR sits just 1" above the bed rails for a clean, flush appearance. The flat locking handle and overlapping front panel give the cover a smooth, streamlined fit that reduces wind drag and can even help improve fuel economy. It also leaves enough clearance for most fifth-wheel setups or bed cargo systems to stay in place underneath.
There’s no drilling, no springs, and no pull straps to adjust. The rails clamp directly to the bed rails, and the pre-assembled canister drops into place with just a few bolts. Two included drain tubes route water through the bed’s factory drain holes, keeping the canister dry inside. Once installed, the RetraxONE XR is fully self-contained and maintenance-free—just slide it open or closed, lock it where you want, and go.

One year in and I have no problems with this cover. Still opens and closes smoothly. It does take up more room than I was expecting but its not something that would keep me from buying it again. I have added the Yakima rack to it and it all works great.

Terrific product. Ive been very pleased. The only only improvement I can suggest, improve the drainage hose attachment fittings. They come loose too easily.

Glad to hear it looks great, Shelli! I have had a similar cover on my Silverado since 2018 and the retractable covers are the way to go, at least in my opinion. I haven't any issues with the canister making loading up the bed with stuff cause any problems and I don't think you will either. ^___^ What are you typically keeping in your bed? I always have a milk crate with survival type stuff in it, just in case!
