Getting into the bed doesn’t have to be a chore. The Extang Trifecta 2.0 folds open fast thanks to its tri-fold design. Just release the spring-loaded EZ-Lock clamps at the tailgate and lift the rear panel to reach your gear. When you need more space, fold both rear and center panels forward to free up two-thirds of the bed, or remove the whole cover in seconds using the built-in Jaw-Grip clamps. It’s a simple way to keep your cargo covered when you want—and wide-open space when you need it.
Some covers leave behind rails or brackets when removed, but this one doesn’t. The Trifecta 2.0 is completely self-contained with attachment hardware built into the cover itself. There are no loose parts and no drilling required. When you take it off, your bed is clear and smooth with nothing left behind. It sits about 1" to 1-1/2" above the bed rails for a flush, finished look that blends right in.
The Trifecta’s frame and bows are made from aircraft-grade aluminum with a black powder coat finish to resist rust. Fiberglass-reinforced nylon clamps keep it locked down, while rugged, glass-filled nylon hinges hold up to daily use. The heavy-duty, leather-grain vinyl skin is permanently attached to the frame so nothing comes loose or untucked in the wind. The integrated tuck system keeps the corners tight and clean through years of use.
Keeping the bed dry is handled by snap-on rubber seals running around the perimeter of the cover. They create a snug fit that helps block rain, dust, and road grime. The seals hold more securely than adhesive styles, giving you a tougher barrier against the elements without extra maintenance.
The Trifecta 2.0 installs in minutes with no tools or adjustments. The included brackets mount into the factory rail system using threaded aluminum blocks and hand-tightened bolts. Built-in Jaw-Grip clamps at the front and EZ-Lock clamps at the rear attach directly to those brackets. Sorry to hear that, Craig. I can't say I have heard of one of these failing so quickly, so I am surprised. That said, the picture you sent is of a hard folding cover and what you ordered is a replacement for a soft folding cover. Is the picture of a different cover? And then also, can I ask who you contacted exactly? I checked your account and your email address, but I could not find anything sent in. Did you use a different email address by chance?

Very happy with cover, was very easy to install. Keeps everything in bed dry and hidden. Easy to remover for larger loads. Looks great still. All in all was a fantastic experience with product!

Product worked great for the time that I had the truck it was on. The material didnt fade from the sun and it never tore or scratched if something hit it. I definitely would purchase again.

I am very sorry to hear that install was more difficult than anticipated. A lot of companies do have an install policy, it was on there for more than one day which is why we can't take it back. Once again, my apologies that you are not more pleased with the cover, this is not the typical feedback I get on this product.

I reached out to Extang about the cover. The covers are designed to cover the inside dimensions of the bed. You will want to make sure that the cover is centered on the bed itself. Sometimes it seems like the cover should be closer to the cab window and that is not the case. You will want to make sure that it is centered. Also, the cover also is not always designed to cover the stake pockets.
