These chains mean business when the snow piles up. Each link is square and grooved, so it cuts deeper than standard square or round links to grip ice, deep snow, and slush. The ladder pattern gives steady traction as you drive forward, keeping you moving in tough winter conditions when tires alone just spin.
When you’re out in the cold, the last thing you want is a fight with loose chains. With these, you just twist the built-in cams to pull the chain tight around the tire. The assisted tensioning setup makes it easy to snug them down securely. For an even tighter fit, you can add rubber adjusters (sold separately).

These chains are built from nickel manganese alloy steel that’s case hardened for strength and corrosion resistance. The reversible design lets you flip them over when one side wears down, doubling their life. It’s a solid setup that holds up to repeated winter use without giving up durability.
Made for wide-base and super-single tires, this set gives serious traction where it matters most. You can count on the grip and stability that keep big tires steady on snowy roads. Each set includes two chains and is ready to handle deep snow driving or work in tough winter conditions.
These chains fit the following tire sizes:

Adam: Hi, everyone. Adam with etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Pewag Square Link Snow Tire Chains, with cam tensioners. So these chains are going to be designed for some of those more wide and thick tires that you may have, and it is going to give you an extremely aggressive grip. So it is kind of like a ladder patterned-style with these square links. They're going to wear evenly, and they're all made of the same material, which is a manganese nickel alloy steel.
So it's going to resist against that rust and corrosion and all of that salt that's on the road when there's snow. Also, it does have some cam tensioners. They're really, really easy to do and it just makes it very easy to install, because we all know if you're putting these on, you're either stuck or in some cold situations. So making it really easy to put these on is definitely a plus for me.So these square links are going to be about 5.6 mm in width. So it's going to be pretty big.
And with this cross chain pattern as well, it's going to give you about 32% more traction, compared to some of the other ones in this market. So these aren't the most aggressive chains that we get for these tires. We do have some V-Bar ones that are going to be a lot more aggressive. They're going to have more like daggers sticking out. They're going to grip a lot better, but they're going to wear a little bit more. Also, there's some twist links that we have.
It's not going to be as aggressive as our square links here, but they're going to ride a little bit smoother as well. But all of these are going to come in a pack of two. So if you have four wheel drive applications or all wheel drive, just go ahead and use our fit guide on our website, and just type in your tire size and just grab two pair.We do also recommend just grabbing one of these rubber tensioners. It does not come with your kit, but we do sell them here at etrailer.com, so it's the one stop shop.Well everyone, that's just about it for our look at the Pewag Square Link Snow Tire Chains, with cam tensioners.

Great! Best chains I have ever owned. Easy on easy off, full grip on and off-road. Use them regular off road on logging raids and hunting trails

These chains on my Jeep Rubicon are fantastic. I am a volunteer firefighter and EMT in the mountains of Colorado. I need to get to emergency incidents in the worst of weather. These chains make that possible.
