This locking tailgate handle is going to help discourage theft of your cargo and your tailgate. It's gonna create a secure storage space in your truck bed for your valuables when you're using a tunnel cover or a truck bed cap. Very simple to get this installed. It is a custom fit for your 2005 through 2015 Toyota Tacoma so it is going to fit right in place of your original tailgate handle, and so you have that straight-from-the-factory sort of look.
You're not gonna have to worry about any drilling or welding or anything like that and it is going to give you all the necessary hardware to get it installed. This will work with your trucks that have a backup camera, or will also work with your trucks that don't have a backup camera. It is an ABS plastic handle. It's got this silver-streak mica color that's gonna help compliment any silver trim on your truck, so it's all going to look really nice for you, and then, of course, one of the most important parts is the tough armored steel lock that's gonna resist tampering. This lock cylinder has bolt-codeable technology, so it can be keyed to match your truck key.
All you have to do is insert your key and turn it and then that's going to code it to your key so you don't have to worry about carrying any extra keys.
