Hello, neighbors. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at the Westin PRO TRAXX Oval Nerf Bars. They're a four-inch with a nice, black powder coated, steel finish. Now, folks, these are a custom-fit application. Make sure you're checking out our fit guide here at etrailer.com.
Top center of the homepage, enter your year, make, and model where it asks for the vehicle information. Make sure you're getting the right parts the first time for your specific vehicle. Be sure to check the door count as well as these also only fit a two-door 2021 through 2024 Ford Bronco. Now, folks, these again are a custom-fit, cab length, Oval Nerf Bar, super nice and lightweight. You get two bars with purchase.
I wanna point out, I've only got one bar here on the table because I'm limited to space, but I'll throw an image up on the screen here. You're gonna get two bars. Again, they're an oval, four-inch Nerf Bar and again, you will get two of 'em and everything here on the table, I'm just limited it for space here. And the nice thing about a four-inch is you get a greater stability than those narrower ones that are out there, and they have a nice, seamless, domed end with a nice 30-degree bend, and that's gonna deliver that nice, stylish, finished, curved look on the outside of your vehicle. Now again, the end is fully sealed up.
There's no weld seams or anything, so it's gonna keep out moisture. It's got a very nice, wide saddle pad. It's a four-inch pad by 24 inches, so it gives you a nice, big, large area to step on to ensure sure footing when you're getting in and out of the vehicle. Now, zooming in here, you can also see it's got raised treads built into it. It's molded in there.
(thudding) Again, high-density plastic there, and it's a nice sturdy polymer that's gonna also resist UV rays, cracking, fading, that kind of stuff. And once again, everything that's steel here is a black powder coated finish to resist rust and corrosion. Now, you do also get these plastic caps, those kind of cover the brackets there, and you'll get a set of instructions as well. So just follow the instructions. It really is a very simple install. There's not one drilled hole that needs to be done. So again, no drilling whatsoever. You simple bolted on. It's gonna come with all this included hardware. You'll mount it up per the instructions into the frame of the vehicle. Should be a fairly simple install for you. They have a nice three-year warranty and again, they're four-inch. Looks great and were not that hard to i nstall.
Good points:
The rails and brackets lined up pervert with the Dodge provided rod posts.
All in all installation was tight and sturdy.
Not so good points:
The stainless finish lacked a brilliant shine that I expected.
Had some dull spots. Stainless thickness gauge seamed a little light.
Installation instructions we’re not clear.
Brackets instructions should have diagram showing the layout.
Hardware could of been labeled better as well.
Fast shipping and easy ordering on a great product
Chrome nerf bars are very nice. However, the packaging that the individual nerf bars were in were mislabeled. The one marked passenger side actually belonged on the driver side. I spent over an hour trying to figure out what was wrong because the mounting brackets were not aligning with the bolt holes in the bottom of the nerf bar.
The installation video was so helpful and it was the reason I purchased from eTrailer.
Place a selection in the drop down vehicle selection, for regular cab, double cab , crew cab…… my nerd bars showed up wrong and had to spend another $[XX] bucks to ship them back! Not liking online ordering like I used to…..arrived beat up!!!!
They Look good. The mounting brackets are to short. That makes the Nerf Bars to close to the Trucks body. Also, the Nerf Bars are setting at an angle toward the
body of the Truck as well. I have tried to adjust them with little results.
I do like the heavy-duty brackets.

Well made, heavy duty construction. I'm over 60 and installed them myself in less than an hour. Now my 90 year old father can easily get into my truck. Well done guys!
Pretty decent product. Shipping was fast. Instructions need redone. Installed in about a hour with cordless tools.

The bars were mostly easy to install. I didnt have a torque wrench handy but fortunately I was able to borrow one to finish the installation. They fit my Tacoma very well and look great on.

These arrived a day earlier than was told. The box was in good condition and all of the parts were included. The installation instructions were good and the online videos helped. I installed them right after they were delivered. The bars look really good, I'm surprised at only 3 mounts per side though. Kinda looks like it should have 4. They are solid and I'm expecting many years of use.

I'm an athletic 6ft male that feels less like an old man getting in and out of our 2025 GMC 3500 due to the steps.
Also,I keep a lot of dirt bike related items packed on the rear seat and floor. Having the step makes it possible to standing it, lean in and find what I need without having to take things out. Saves so much time and energy. I never would have thought about the step helping me other than getting in and out. It's a great "tool" to have.
I've had these nerf bars for about a year now. Installed on a 2024 Silverado 1500. They look nice and have been solid so far. They do hang down a bit too low away from the bottom of the truck cab. Wish they sit up an inch or two higher away from the ground. Overall I'm generally happy with them and give them 4 stars.
Great set of side steps for the money. They dont stick out or down too much and give me a place to step in easier. Quickly shipped, arrived on great condition. Side steps themselves marked backwards (driver side rail had a "passenger" sticker on it. Human screw up, so trust the photos and your process. I tried the other side and it was spot on. Thanks trailer for the great price and quick handling.
Awesome addition to my truck. Second set of Westin nerf bars. My truck needed an update! Love the SS oval nrf bars. Original bars were the e-series and looked good for 7 years. Just needed a change and the bracket covers add that finished touch to the install.
