Installed one year ago on my 2015 Jeep Rubicon Wrangler Unlimited. Installation was simple, with the exception of one thing. To install the step you must permanently remove the "rock sliders" with leaves the bottom seam of the body exposed.
The steps still look in newish condition, except for the color (now dark gray) which has caught up with all the black plastic on my Jeep, thanks to the AZ sun. The rubber tread can be slick when wet.
They arrived quickly, but packing was not adequate. Driver side running board has a dent. Sent photos in via email and no one responded .

We were able to mount the running boards in a bout 2 hours total. They are very sturdy, everything lined up exactly, and they look Great! I had to call tech support because the instructions had not been updated to make sure it would fit my 2019 4Runner. They answered the phone quickly and confirmed that they would fit all the way up to a 2023 4Runner and they were easy to mount!
Great nerfs! Easy install and they look fine on my 19 Colorado. The price was right and etrailer under-promised and over delivers with fantastic shipping! I am 73 years old and had them install with no hoist in an hour and a half. Simple tools and follow the directions for a great install.

These nerf bars are great! They are very well constructed, are easy to install, and look good. The fit my 2020 F-350 perfectly. They also are a great price. I went with the matte black finish and it looks great. I like the fact that the ends of the bars welded shut unlike other bars I have had which typically have had a plastic cap over the end. The plastic cap will eventually leak and the bars rust from the inside out. These bars do ride a bit higher than my old OEM Ford nerf bars did. This gives improves the look but creates a higher step. The one thing I would suggest to the manufacturer is to supply a few extra spacer washer in the kit for the purpose of leveling it out visually.
The Nerf bars were easy to install. Instruction video for install made it look easy and Austin was a great help to make sure I ordered the rite bars for my truck
The Product sames to be pretty sturdy.Delievered friday 06/12/26 and I installed it Saturday.Pretty simple installation, and all the parts were there, nothing missing.It will help getting in and out of the truck, and matches color of my truck.(champagne and black accents).
I got it and the box was reaped opened on one end scratches on one of the
bars,but I think it will be OK with a little touch up paint.Over all I am Happy with it, thanks
So far I have no problems since the installation a year ago. I did receive them with a dent in the end cap but it appears it was there during the manufacturing due to the paint/powder coat was not scratched. It’s was on the inside of the end so it is not seen. I didn’t feel like returning or complaining. Ok

Super easy to install and looks great on the 4Runner.
We got these for our 2027 F350 Super Duty. I was glad to see that it was easy (even on the 2WD) to get under the truck to install these without jacking.
It probably took me about two hours to install without a rack or power tools (not counting the time to inventory the parts), and most of that time was for me to to crawl in and out from under the truck.
Installation is very straightforward, but there are a lot of nuts and bolts. Anyone who knows how to use their torque wrench can do this.
Plusses:
- Packaging was extraordinary. I had read reviews for nerf bars (likely from other manufacturers) of scratches on the bar out of the box. The bars themselves were each contained in color-coded plastic sleeve within its own carboard box within the main box. There was no way these would get scratched unless they were packaged at the factory like that.
Would have been nice:
- had the hardware been sorted into more bags at least by size (6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm). That would have helped the inventorying. Bonus points if they could sort by individual part (6 mm washer, for example) with labelling.
- had a more detailed tool list been provided.
- had they provided a 1 oz tube of anti-seize as required. The steps were nearly a $400 product, but I had to make a special order or store trip for a tube of anti-seize.
Installation tips:
- Keep the nuts on the brackets and studs loose until installing the bars to the brackets. They tell you this in the instructions, but I am emphasizing REALLY loose - like the nuts barely contact the split washers.
- They tell you to install the plastic beauty covers after loosely installing the brackets to the truck. I do not see why you cannot do this ahead of time in the comfort of your own living room.
They look great! The Super Dutys look incomplete without running boards. I love the look of these.
There is no reason I would not hesitate to enthusiastically recommend these others.
Install was easy could of used a bigger rounded washer for the mounting bolts.

These nerf bars were very easy to install. The instructions were easy to follow and the quality is awesome. 1 year later they are holding up with no issues and still look great!
Nice looking product. However, upon sorting the contents, I found a bolt/nut plate with damaged threads. I reported the problem, sent a photo, and am waiting for a replacement plate to arrive. Thanks to previous reviewers, I checked the rear brackets and found that they were, in fact, mislabeled. So, I have only installed one side and like what I see as does my 5'4" wife.
One year after installation and these step bars still look good. No visible rust on the steps, brackets or hardware. I frequently drive down a long dirt road to a relatives house and the paint is holding up great. These steps help the wife get in while not being too low as to affect ground clearance much. Overall a good purchase and transaction with etrailer.com.

UPS man delivered at 11:00 am. it was a very hot day, I worked in the shade without any lift except I drove up on some 2x8's to give me a couple more inches clearence. I took my time and installation was done by 3:00pm. When I researched installation online; there were several references to the fact that the rear brackets are mismarked. Yes, they were mismarked, the bracket marked PR (passenger side rear) is actually DR (driver side rear). Allen wrench that is provide with product was rather cheap. I had to grind it back to get new hex after tightening one side. All in all, installation wasn't hard and product looks good.
I love the look of the new bars on my truck. Instructions were awesome as usual with anything I have bought from etrailer. Everything I ordered show up quickly and in perfect condition. I love that they followed up a year from my original purchase to check in. I’m very pleased with the products and customer service. I recommend etrailer to all my friends.

The nerf bars I purchased a year ago have held up wonderfully. They have no rust and the color is still fantastic. They were a great addition to my truck. They changed the look of my stock 2019 Ram 1500 completely.
