Features to know about

Built for Heavy Loads and Highway Confidence: 6,005-lb Wheel Capacity

When the haul is demanding, this wheel delivers solid strength. The Lionshead hub-piloted steel wheel is rated for 6,005 lbs of capacity and meets Department of Transportation standards, giving you peace of mind on long drives or heavy-duty use. It's +0.19" offset keeps the wheel positioned closer to the trailer frame for a balanced, confident ride mile after mile.

Corrosion Resistance that Lasts: White Powder Coat over E-Coat Primer

Rust and moisture don't stand a chance against this finish. The wheel is treated with an e-coat primer and then covered in a durable white powder coat that resists corrosion in wet or humid conditions. It keeps it's look clean and holds up to tough environments season after season.

Reliable Structure for Every Tow: Sturdy Steel, Hub-Piloted Design

This wheels all-steel construction is built for consistent performance under load. The hub-piloted design centers the wheel precisely on the hub while non-chamfered bolt holes keep everything tight and secure. It's a rugged setup that stays true when the miles start adding up.

Precise Fit for Hub-Centric Mounting: 8 on 6-1/2 Bolt Pattern and 4.76" Pilot Diameter

You get an easy fit thanks to clear, standard specs. The wheel has an 8 on 6-1/2" bolt pattern, a 4.76" pilot diameter, and uses 5/8"-18 wheel bolts with flange nuts sold separately. That combination keeps installation simple and ensures a solid connection once mounted.

Video Transcript for Review of Lionshead Trailer Tires and Wheels - Wheel Only - LH43MR

Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at this Lionshead Heavy Duty Modular Steel Trailer Wheel. So folks, if you have a large trailer that regularly carries some serious weight, your wheels need to be able to handle that load. And this wheel is rated for up to 6,005 pounds. That's going to make it a great option for those heavy duty trailer applications where a typical smaller trailer wheel simply isn't going to have the capacity that you need.

Now, this is an all steel wheel, (metal clacking) so you're getting a strong straightforward design built with heavy hauling in mind. Now, this is also what we call a hub piloted wheel. And that just means that the wheel will censor on the hub rather than relying on the lugnuts here to center it. So you do have an eight on six and 1/2-inch bolt pattern, and this is a non-Chamfered bolt hole, and that just means those are designed to work with 5/8-inch flange nuts which are sold separately. So again, you will need flange nuts to properly and safely secure this to your hubs.

Another important detail is that this features a positive offset. And the wheel has a +0.19 inch offset, and that just means that this will position the wheel slightly closer to your trailer frame. So if this was the trailer frame, the wheel's going to sit a little bit closer to the frame. So if you're replacing an existing wheel, make sure that you have that offset or that you have the space needed for that offset. But more likely than not, if you're replacing just one, you definitely want to make sure you have that offset, otherwise you're going to have one wheel that's closer and one that aren't, and you're going to have issues.

So again folks, make sure you have that offset. As far as protection on the wheel itself, Lionshead does an e-coat primer, and then they add this nice white powder coat finish on top of that. And that gives the steel wheel some additional resistance against rust, corrosion, chips and stuff, with rocks, and road grime and stuff, hitting that steel. It's going to do a great job as far as protecting that wheel. And of course, you do have the heavy duty valve stem up here up top as well.

So it's not those cheap rubber ones. It is a heavy duty one. So again folks, if you're a heavy duty hauler with disc brakes and a high capacity steel wheel need, this is a great option for you. This again is the Lionshead Modular Wheel. I'm Steve with etrailer. Thanks so much for watching, and as always, please stay safe while you're towing.
