This aluminum wheel comes with steel inserts pressed into the lug nut wells. The inserts help prevent the holes from wearing down over time, helping the wheel stay secured to your trailer hub and reducing the need for repeated retightening caused by wear in the lug nut wells.

Determining Bolt Pattern

Start by counting the lug holes, also called bolt holes, on the wheel hub or the back of the wheel. Common configurations include 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug, and 8-lug patterns. How you measure the spacing depends on whether the wheel has an even or odd number of lug holes.

Measuring Even-Lug Bolt Patterns

For wheels with 4, 6, or 8 lug holes, measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the opposite hole.

Common configurations include 4 on 4", 6 on 5-1/2", and 8 on 6-1/2".

Measuring 5-Lug Bolt Patterns

For wheels with 5 lug holes, measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of one of the two holes farthest across from it. Do not measure center to center, since there is no directly opposite hole.

Common configurations include 5 on 4-1/2", 5 on 5", 5 on 4-3/4", and 5 on 5-1/2".
