Moisture and road grime won’t stand a chance against this wheel’s rustproof aluminum build. The 10" x 6" Aluminum AM02 Series wheel has a clear coat on both sides that shields the machined face from scuffs and scratches. It’s a durable, lightweight option that keeps looking sharp season after season.
When your load matters, you want a wheel that’s built to hold up. This one delivers with a 1,500-lb load rating and steel inserts in the lug nut wells that keep the wheel securely in place on the hub. The inserts also prevent wear around the bolt holes and eliminate the need for frequent retightening, so you can tow with confidence trip after trip.
This wheel isn’t just built tough—it looks great doing it. The split-spoke design gives it a modern, appealing style that instantly upgrades your trailer’s overall appearance. The black finish with machined highlights offers that right mix of sleek and rugged without extra fuss.
Setup is simple thanks to precise specs. The wheel measures 10" diameter x 6" wide with a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern, 3.19" pilot diameter, and 0 offset. Wheel bolt size is 1/2"-20, meeting DOT specifications for quality and safety you can count on.

1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hello, everybody, This is Jeff with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Americana 10 inch by six inch black machined AM02 series aluminum trailer wheel with the five on four and a half inch bolt pattern. Now, this aluminum wheel is durable, lightweight and rust proof. Now, this 10-inch trailer wheel size is commonly found on utility trailers, snowmobile trailers, small boat trailers and many other applications. We mentioned this is an Americana AMO2 series, which you can see has a split five spoke design, has a black finish, but if you look at the face of the spoke and of the lip, it has a machine finish on it to give a nice shine to it. The front and even the back of the wheel are clear coated to protect against scuffs and scratches, and now one of the nice features I like on this wheel is the steel inserts here that are pressed into the lug nut wells.
That's nice because this'll help keep your wheel securely in place on your trailer hub. Basically, those steel inserts prevent the holes from wearing down over time. When you put your lug nuts on there and torque 'em down, keeps 'em from elongating. So it eliminates the need for constant re-tightening of your lug nuts. The wheel itself is a high quality wheel.
Does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation, specifications. A few measurements on this. We're gonna measure the diameter and the width. Now, the diameter on a wheel, when you measure it, is always inside to inside 'cause what you're measuring is when a tire's mounted on here, the tire beads are gonna seat right here. So what you're measuring is bead seat to bead seat to get you the diameter.
So if we get our tape measure, and you can see if we go inside to inside, there's your 10 inch diameter, and if we do the width, again, bead seat to bead seat, gonna be right at six inches wide. Now, the bolt pattern on this wheel is a five on four and a half inch bolt pattern, and if you want to measure that on the wheel that's an odd number of lugs, like in this case, five, what you'll need to do is pick one hole. Let's say this one, and then you're gonna measure across to either one of these holes right across from it, but when you measure, it's from the center of the starting hole to the furthest edge of the hole that you measure to. So on this one, if we measured, it'd be four and a half inches. So it's a five on four and a half inch bolt pattern.
Wheel lug size issues is a half inch by 20. Pilot hole diameter, now, if you notice, it does not come with the center cap. If you do want a center cap, we do sell those separately on our website. You do wanna make sure to get a center cap that'll have the same diameter of this hole 'cause when you install it, it goes through this hole. The diameter on this pilot hole is 3.19 inches, and the weight rating on this wheel is 1,500 pounds, but that's gonna do it for a look at this Americana 10 inch by six inch black machined AM02 series aluminum wheel.
