When you’re dealing with a 10,000-lb axle, the last thing you want is a weak connection between the axle and the leaf springs. This U-bolt delivers a solid clamp with its 5/8" diameter steel construction. It’s made for round, 5" diameter Hayes trailer axles and locks everything down tight so your suspension stays aligned and stable mile after mile.
Getting the right size matters when you’re replacing suspension hardware. This U-bolt measures 9-1/2" long with a 5" inner width, giving you the correct geometry to wrap around a 5" round axle. It installs cleanly with a matching U-bolt plate and a second U-bolt of the same dimensions for a balanced, even hold.
No complicated steps or special tools needed. The U-bolt includes two nuts so you can torque it down securely once it’s in place. Pair it with a U-bolt plate (sold separately) and you’ve got a dependable connection that brings your suspension back to full strength.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a brief look at this replacement U-bolt with nuts. This U-bolt in conjunction with a U-bolt plate and an additional U-bolt is going to attach your round five inch in diameter, 10,000 pound Hayes axle to your leaf springs which are mounted to your trailer frame. This U-bolt, as you can see here, includes these two nuts and the diameter of this bolt is five eighths of an inch. Let me retrieve my ruler here to give you some other measurements. The overall, what I'm calling the inside length here, we are sitting right at nine and a half inches long and the width we're sitting right at five inches.

The first order was great. The second we were missing half of the order. We are missing one U-bolt with nuts, four U-bolt nuts for the U-bolts that were in the package and we are missing both 1" eye bolts and nuts.

Products are good but packaging is terrible. Both boxes where split open the ends. It's a wonder I got everything. Loose parts rolling around the boxes with split ends.
they sent the wrong size and still haven't sent the correct ones after sending many pictures. Of Corse all this happened during the holidays so here we are January 5 and I still don't know when I'll get the correct ones.
