Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Trimax Coupler Latch Lock. It's got a 1/4-inch-thick diameter pin, and it's gonna span 2 1/2 inches inside. That's right, folks, so again, 2 1/2 inch on the inside. Made of a hardened stainless steel, this lock will resist rust and corrosion and give you that long-lasting durability. Now, the rubber plug on here, let me tell you, they are actually really tight, which is a good thing.
It's not gonna come off easy. Once you get it off, you got your two tube keys here, or barrel keys. Simply make 1/4 turn, it unlocks. Now you can put it through the coupler. And then put it back together, and then do a 1/4 turn to re-lock it.
And then again, you're gonna cover this to keep out dirt and debris. Now, this will fit surge brake couplers that lock through the body and coupler latches with, again, up to a 2 1/2-inch span.
