This 93-1/2" long uneven rub rail covers and protects unfinished edges along the bottom of your enclosed trailer or around your trailer's stone guard. Aluminum construction is sturdy and rustproof. Trim can be cut to fit your application.

Today we're going to take a look at the aluminum uneven rubbed rail trim for enclosed trailers. Now, this uneven rub rail trim will cover your unfinished edges along the top or the bottom of your enclosed trailer. It can also be used on your trailer's stone guard. Now, when we call this an uneven rub rail trim, what we're talking about is the size of the lips on it. And I just want to show you this section to just show you the difference. If you look at the top lip, it's a lot larger.
The bottom lip is smaller. So this is considered an uneven rub rail trim. Basically what happens is, if there's an upper curve on the seam that you're putting this on, then the uneven trim would be used. If the edge just has flat seams, then the even trim would be recommended. We do also sell the even trim in the same size just like this.
The even rub rail trim is part number 36284-955. And again, that's sold separately on our website.This review is going to be on the uneven rub rail trim. Dimension on this piece, the total length of this is 93 1/2 inches long. Overall height, we put a ruler on it, is 1 1/2 inches tall. The depth of the the larger one, the uneven trim is going to be 5/16ths of an inch deep.
This part is an aluminum construction. It's very sturdy and rust-proof. It's very easy to customize and install. It does attach with screws. Now, the screws are not included, and this can be cut to fit your specific application.
This part is made in the USA. But that should do it for the review on the aluminum uneven rub rail trim for the enclosed trailers.

This purchase was very stressful for myself and etrailer. My item was shipped fast but USPS continued to drop the ball. It got to the point after several weeks that etrailer refunded my purchase price. Even after that they tried to ship me the part. It arrived today and I was shocked to see it in my driveway. etrailer did all they could do to get my item to me despite USPS. etrailer customer service is top notch and they have certainly earned my future business. Terrific. Just what I needed at a great price.
It's not the product that's the problem it's the stickers that you put on everything! Look I get it, you want it to be known that it came from Etrailer. But... it's on the face/good side out and is a real pain trying to get all the stick stuff off it. You are making more work for the consumer.
Don't discount the communication efforts from the email confirmations to shipping info and follow up etrailer puts alot of effort into your order. Some don't value this BUT if you have ever bought online only to find you have no service after the sale you will the vast offerings prices and service here!
My trim came in but it got bent during transport with USPS I think if the container it was shipped in was better quality that may not have happened.A shame I paid $70 and the trim was bent.I give 2 stars for not so good shipping container but have been happy with past buys with etrailer
First time I got half of an empty carboad tube..this time the cardboard tube was bent in half with the piece inside..
This is the exact part I needed and a direct replacement for the piece on the trailer I repaired. Great Service from etrailer!!

I purchased an aluminum trim piece for the rear door of my trailer. It came super fast and I received it in excellent condition. I would recommend using etrailer for all your trailer needs.
Why 3 times the cost of the even rub rail? It was bent and had dents from the staples used to secure it to the cardboard sleeve it was sent in.
Got in Tilley manner. Just received 24J uly.
