This Optronics mini light uses two red LEDs that shine bright while drawing just 0.06 amps at 12V. The LEDs last up to 50 times longer than incandescent bulbs, so you won’t be swapping burnt-out filaments or dealing with dim lights again. It’s efficient, clear, and reliable every time you hook up.
If your trailer sees rain or road spray, this light is up for it. The housing and clear lens are sonically sealed into one waterproof piece that’s completely submersible. Moisture and corrosion stay out, keeping the electronics protected so your light keeps working after countless launches or storms.
The body and lens are made from impact-resistant polycarbonate that can handle hits from gravel or gear without cracking. It’s a tough little housing built to stand up to rough roads and daily use, giving you a dependable light that won’t quit when things get bumpy.
At just 2-1/2" long by 1-1/8" tall and only 5/8" thick, this oblong light mounts flat against the surface with two #10 screws (hardware not included). The single-wire design grounds through the mounting hardware, so hookup is quick and clean—no extra grounding wires to fuss with.
This P2-rated marker or clearance light sends a focused 45-degree beam to each side of center for a total of 90 degrees of coverage. It produces a bright red output through its clear lens, helping other drivers see your trailer’s edges clearly at night or in low-light conditions.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a look at this Optronics submersible, mini red LED clearance or side marker light. With this little oblong waterproof LED trailer light, you are gonna be able to haul safer by alerting other drivers of your trailer's position and direction of travel. As you can see, I already have this connected to 12 volt power. And this light functions as both a clearance and side marker light when properly mounted.
This is how bright it is with my studio lights on. Let me go ahead and turn my lights off to give you a better idea what this is gonna look like, especially at night. Now, these two red LEDs can last 50 times longer than incandescent lights. They're more efficient. They provide brighter light with less power output.
There's no bulbs replace or no brittle filaments. This is a P2 rated light, meaning that it produces a 45 degree angle of light to either side of its center line for a total of 90 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be seen straight on, but it cannot be seen clearly from the side, so this type of light can be used as either a side marker light or a clearance light, but it cannot be used as both. So, if you need both a functions, then you must install two separate lights on your trailer. One as a front or rear clearance light, and one as a side marker light.
This light features a sonically sealed, waterproof housing and a lens unit that is submersible. And it has an impact resistant, polycarbonate housing and lens. And the transparent lens help produces a clear, colored light. This is a surface mounted light and surface mounts to your trailer with two number 10 screws. Those screw are not included, so you would have to get that either locally or a separate purchase.
And this is a single wire design that grounds through the mounting hardware. Now, this is compatible with 12 volt DC systems and the power draw at 12 volts is 0.06 amps. Just give you an idea of the size of this light. Looking at the overall length of this light from end to end, we are sitting right at 2 1/2 inches long. And looking at the width, we're sitting right at about an inch and an eighth wide. Line that up here a little bit better for you. And then the thickness, we're sitting right at about five eights of an inch thick. And then the distance between those mounting holes, center to center, line that up here for you, we are sitting right at 1 7/8 inches. Now, there is a lifetime warranty on the two LEDs. And that is going to conclude our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..

Perfect Replacement for marker lights on my 2016 Backtrack trialer for my Xpress boat.
A couple of years ago, I converted a single jet-ski trailer to a kayak trailer to hold my two kayaks, and installed new LED stop/turn/brake lights and clearance lights from etrailer.com. The lights worked great, and I used the trailer for a couple of years before I realized that I was missing a light for the license plate! I'm surprised I never got pulled over by the police! etrailer.com came to my rescue again with this great LPL31CB license plate light. It's very bright and really lights up the plate and the ground around the back of my trailer. Recently I added three more small red clearance lights at the back of my trailer, so the tailgaters and crazy drivers have no excuse about seeing my trailer! See the pictures! etrailer.com has great products, great service, and fast shipping!
Perfect fit replacement. Delivered quickly at a great price. Easy install and safely back on the road.
I purchased this light to replace a cargo trailer light. It isn't a exact match but pretty close. It gets the job done and unless you know the light is different no one will know. Light looks the same as the original.
LED license plate light really lights things up
The replacement lights are exactly the same as original. Other online offerings were similar but would have required modification. Pricing was competitive as well.
Were a perfect match for the clearance lights on my 2015 American Hauler trailer.
So far this license plate light has worked flawlessly! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that I thought the original light (same or very similar light) would last "forever" considering how much we use the trailer. In any case, this light thoroughly illuminates the license plate, so it's easy to see for the toll cameras in our area! I really appreciate the support and products that etrailer supplies. The other lights on my trailer (tail, turn, brake, clearance) have worked great, as long as I maintain a good ground connection on the wiring! I recently had a problem with intermittent lights (blinking on and off), that I eventually traced to a bad ground wire INSIDE the trailer-side wiring connection. I replaced the trailer-side connection, re-spliced the other wires, and wired everything through a weatherproof junction box that I bolted (drilled and tapped) to the side of the trailer tongue. The new ground wire is fastened securely to one of the threaded/bolted connections and seems to be working well so far. I used wired nuts to connect the other wires inside the weatherproof box, so it will be easy to replace connectors if they fail in the future.
