I had a slight problem when mounting, the amount of wire lead slack was not enough to move it and get a rivet gun head inside to mount it.
I ended up pulling the wire lead off of the switch and the LED board both.
I am going to try to repair this myself.
These are a replacement for lights that were four years old. I sealed the outer Lense better so water would hopefully stay out. They came on my Casita camper as stock lights. They since went to something else. They referred me to E Trailer to by a replacement. I did notice these had some silicone around the switch. The originals did not. Please continue to carry Them!
There fine Just put some silicone around the lens plate to keep moister out.

I like the light so far. Installing it was easy.The light came with long enough wires so spicing into old wires was a breeze.
We're traveling and I needed to replace my hitch cargo light on my 5th wheel. I knew etrailer would have it & ship it to my campground fast. The new light has LED so it's also 3x brighter than the original. etrailer is my 1st choice for all my trailering needs.
Great products. I purchase this same item weeks ago to replace my factory installed light of 3 years. Received within a week and installed same night and really lite up the hitch area. Decided to get 2 more and install in the bed areas for reading lights. I have a Rockwood Roo 21 Hybrid so I thought these lights wood work great in the dropout bed
Light works fine but The cover for the light kept falling off. Had to add a little piece of tape to keep it in place.

These lights easily installed in place of the old incandescent lights which were on my horse trailer. They are much brighter and there were no new holes to drill.
I do not recommend these lights. Put them on my RV in July and put the RV into my shop come September. They have already turned just as yellow as the ones that were on the trailer from 2012.

Unit is composed of basic lower-cost components like all other similar items but is built well, installs quickly and has lasted through daily use in summers and winter freezing rain. It sometimes gets left on a day or two at a time and we use the trailer daily.
