Installation couldn’t get much easier. The adhesive backing lets you stick the light right where you need it, while the tabbed grommet keeps it firmly in place. Today, we're going to take a look at the Optronics Oblong LED Mini Side Marker and Clearance Light with an Amber Lens. Now this is a mini LED trailer light that will function as both a side marker and a clearance light when it's properly mounted. This uses a sonically-sealed waterproof housing, and the lens unit is submersible. The LED on it makes great replacement for an incandescent light because they'll last 50 times longer. They're more efficient, they'll provide brighter light with less power output, and of course no bulbs to replace or brittle filaments to break.This is an amber lens over a white LED. It's all in this durable polycarbonate housing.
It is compatible with 12 Volt DC systems. If you look on the back of the light, they actually have an adhesive backing that you can peel that off and stick it wherever you need be, for easy mounting to the trailer. It is a two-wire design. The wires are about eight inches long, and they have the 0.180 male bullet connectors on the end. The slide is PC rated.The dimensions, length of it is going to be right at 1 1/2 inches long.
The height on the unit, or the light, is going to be 3/4 of an inch tall. And the thickness from the very front to the very back is going to be right at 5/8 of an inch. It is one diode. The power draw at 12.8 Volts is 0.12 Amps. And the last thing I want to do is we're going to plug this into some 12 Volt power just to show you how bright the light is.
So we'll go ahead and connect our ground wire, and then we'll connect our power wire.And then with both of them connected, I'll go ahead and turn on the light. And you can see what the light on, and I'll go ahead and turn off the overhead lights and you can see for a little bitty mini light, it. Oops. There you go. For a little bitty light, gives off a very bright light for the one LED.
Turn back on the overhead lights, and you can even see what the lights on, it's very bright. Go ahead and turn that off, disconnect it. But that should do it for the review on the Optronics Oblong LED Mini Side Marker and Clearance Light with an Amber Lens.

These are bright and the adhesive backing sticks very well. I used a 23/64 drill bit for the mounting hole and the barbs on the rubber grommet helps keep the light from coming out along with the adhesive on the back.
