Surface-mount RV porch lights install using pre-drilled mounting holes in the housing. These lights lay flat against the RV surface and only require a small, often pre-existing hole, for wiring. Mounting hardware is used to secure the light to the RV.

Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a look at LED RV, Porch or Utility Light. This low profile round RV light serves as a porch or utility light for your RV or trailer. I already have it hooked up to power, so I'm gonna turn it on and then turn off the overhead lights. So you can see it in a low light setting. So you can see here it sends out a really nice, consistent signal. Nice, bright light output.
That is a LED system. LEDs make great replacements for incandescent lights. They last longer, burn brighter and they're more efficient.With LEDs you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs and you don't have to worry about brittle filaments. This unit contains a nice, clear lens. It's held in place with the included screws.
And then the base of the unit is a durable black plastic construction. Now I do wanna point out that this is set at an angle. So internally the LED board is set at an angle so that way when the light comes on, it actually takes the light and broadcasts it at a downward angle. So it's a really nice design. Very typical and common for porch lights.Surface mount installation.
So to gain access to the mount holes You need to remove the lens and then there's four mount holes on the unit. So that's directly to the surface of your RV or trailer. And that's a two wire design. So your white wire is your ground, black is for power. When it comes to the overall diameter, that gives us a measurement of about 4-7/8" and then the overall depth at the deepest point is about 2-1/8".
And then all of these mounting slots . Now it's a square mount pattern. So side to side, you're separated on center by 2" and up and down, they're separated on center by 2".That's gonna do it for today's look at the LED RV Porch or Utility Light.

We installed this on our 1999 Rialta as a porch light and it works very well. I would have given 5 stars if it came with a sealing gasket on the back side. We are very pleased with our purchase, keep up the good work!

Nice unit overall. I like it much better than the similar rectangular light. The lens on that one just snaps in place. I have lost two lens just from road vibration. The lens on this one actually screws on to the base. I would give it 5 stars but two of the screw holes in the base are covered by the led circuit board.

The product was just as described and a great replacement to the bulb style lights.
It fits perfectly, was easy to install and the light is very Brigitte.
Light works just fine. Should come with a gasket. Had to make one from an inner tube. So I dropped it by one star.
Light works ok, but very poor design. The "light board/circuit board" encroaches on the mounting holes. You can't use the mounting holes without jeopardizing the light. I guess that's why they don't include mounting screws. So be prepared to drill new mounting and fill/seal your old holes.
Looks nice, but the led board in in the way of the mounting holes. Had to take the board loose and then reapply double sided tape to secure it after mounting the base.

Still works great. Pretty bright and angle is just right for a porch light.
