When a worn or damaged hub and rotor takes your trailer down, piecing together separate brake parts can slow the repair and leave too many opportunities for a mismatch. This integrated hub-and-rotor assembly replaces the worn or damaged unit as one complete assembly, restoring your trailer's disc brake system without having to match separate hub and rotor components. Once installed, it's ready to put your trailer back into dependable service.
Wet launches, road spray, and demanding trailer use can be hard on exposed brake components, especially after you've already put in the work to make a repair. The MAXX coating helps protect the assembly from corrosion, while DeeMaxx clearly publishes the critical specifications needed to match your existing brake system, including the 8,000-lb axle capacity, 13" rotor, 9/16" wheel studs, 2-7/8"-12 threaded oil cap interface, and the required 25580 inner and 02475 outer bearing combination with matching races. Together, the corrosion-resistant coating and clearly identified specifications help restore your trailer with confidence and keep it ready for the miles ahead.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this DeeMaxx 13.1 inch hub and rotor assembly with MAXX coating. Now, this integrated hub and rotor assembly is going to be a direct replacement for a worn or damaged unit on an 8,000 pound trailer axle. So it's gonna help restore your trailer's hydraulic disc brake system for proper working order. And because the hub and rotor are built together as a single piece, installation's gonna be more straightforward than replacing the components separately, while also helping maintain proper alignment.
Now, this is going to fit hubs with an eight lug pattern using 9/16ths of an inch wheel bolts. And as we mentioned, the rotor is 13.1 inches in diameter. And then this does use the industry standard bearings that you see there. So I have the numbers there listed for you with the bearings and the races are already pressed into this, so you're not gonna have to worry about races. But the bearings are not included with this, just so you're aware of that.
And this has a 2-7/8 inch by 12 threaded oil cap. That's what you're going to need. Again, that's not included. So it's gonna be compatible with the appropriate 8,000 pound axle applications. This does feature a durable MAXX coating that's gonna help resist corrosion.
It's gonna be a great choice for trailers that are regularly exposed to rain, road salt, or harsh conditions. DeeMaxx is known typically for their drainage holes around the hat to allow water to easily drain out so it's not sitting inside. Also, it's going to be vented as well. But this is designed to restore dependable braking performance while providing long lasting protection against rust and corrosion. I think that's gonna wrap up our look today.

Thanks for sharing that, that’s a really important detail to call out. On setups like this, the included studs are typically sized for standard steel wheels, so when switching over to thicker aluminum wheels, it can definitely lead to needing longer studs like you ran into. I can see how that would be a frustrating surprise in the middle of an install. Glad you caught it and are getting it sorted out. Once everything is buttoned up, we’d be interested to hear how the full setup performs for you. What kind of trailer are you running these on?
