Upgrade your trailer's braking system with this disc brake kit for one axle. It includes MAXX-coated calipers with Yellow Kevlar brake pads, mounting brackets, and rotor mounting bolts for a complete brake installation. Hub not included.
If your trailer's current brakes are no longer keeping up with the weight you tow, this kit provides the primary components needed to upgrade one trailer axle to hydraulic disc brakes. It includes MAXX-coated calipers with preloaded Yellow Kevlar brake pads, MAXX-coated mounting brackets, and rotor mounting bolts for compatible 13" rotors. You can complete the upgrade with a compatible hub, 13" rotors, hydraulic brake actuator, brake lines, and other required hydraulic brake components (sold separately).
Replacing heavy-duty trailer brakes doesn't always mean replacing every component. This kit lets you reuse a compatible hub or choose the correct hub separately, reducing unnecessary replacement costs while matching the brake system to your existing running gear. It's a practical approach that gives you flexibility during the upgrade without replacing more parts than necessary.
Trailers spend plenty of time exposed to weather, making corrosion a common concern after a brake upgrade. MAXX-coated calipers and mounting brackets resist corrosion while the preloaded Yellow Kevlar brake pads reduce parts sourcing before installation. Your trailer stays equipped with corrosion-protected brake components that are ready for the next tow.

Hi, everyone, Steve here with etrailer. Let's take a look at our DeeMaxx disc brakes with a 13-inch rotor with a Maxx coating. So folks, this kit is designed to do one complete trailer axle needed to equip it with hydraulic disc brakes. Now, obviously, I only have one side of that axle. You will get two rotors, two outer components, two caliper sets, two brackets, and then four bags of the bolts. So I just had space on the table for one set, and I think that I can show you a little bit better with just the space I had.
So again, keep in mind you're getting two of everything. Now, that being said, we have the Maxx-coated brake caliper starting off. So you can see that Maxx coating. It's not too shiny. It is gonna keep corrosion and wear and tear down to a minimum.
And you do have these yellow caliper brake pads pre-installed from the factory. You have the Maxx-coated mounting brackets. They're gonna work with a seven-bolt brake flange configuration. (bracket thumping) Then, of course, you have your 13-inch rotor. As you can see, it's slotted and everything.
That's gonna help dissipate heat. That's also gonna help water and stuff drain as well if you're in the marine applications. And then, of course, you have the outer part that the hub would go through. And these obviously would connect with the bolts and everything, and this would all slide over your hub. Obviously, the hub's not included.
You would just reuse a compatible hub, or you can purchase a new hub selection based on what you need here separately as well. So again, this is made for about 10- to 16,000-pound axle rating and specifically dual-wheel, probably about a 16-inch dual-wheel. And again, the rotor here is a 13-inch rotor. So folks, again, you're gonna get two of everything you see on the table. It's enough to do one axle. I'm Steven with etrailer. Thanks for looking at our DeeMaxx disc brake kit. Have a good one.
