Hi Brian!
For aluminum wheels like the Kenda Karrier KR35 ST185/80R13 LRC Radial Trailer Tire w/ 13" Black AM09 Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 # KE39TJ you got, I almost always recommend the DeeMaxx Trailer Wheel XL Lug Nut - Chrome - 1/2" - Qty 1 # DE23KR.
This has the 60 degree cone you need, fits the 1/2-20 lugs the wheel fits, but more importantly, it is narrower at the top than other options. Lugs are almost always a little recessed when you put aluminum wheels on and having a narrower top makes... view full answer...
Good question, Corey.
Since the Americana 14" Aluminum AM03 Series Black Wheel # AM48NR is designed for use on 1/2-20 lugs, you will want to torque the lug nuts to between 75 to 85 ft-lb. I included an image showing all the torque values we have as well, in case you were curious.
If you don't already have lug nuts, or if your current ones are looking a little worse for wear, I highly recommend the DeeMaxx XL Lug Nut # DE23KR. They are a little expensive, but aluminum wheels can make getting... view full answer...
Hi Kyler!
We definitely have center caps and lug nuts that you can use, but the Kenda Karrier KR35 ST175/80R13 LRD Radial Trailer Tire w/ 13" Aluminum AM03 Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 # KE34TJ does not include them.
With that said, I recommend the Taskmaster Center Cap for 3.19" Pilot Hole - Gloss Black # CXF106B. Black center caps match black wheels better than silver ones, in my opinion, and I think these are the best looking ones for this wheel. The page technically says these are for a 15"... view full answer...
Glad to hear you are liking the wheels, Wayne!
With the lug holes being a bit recessed on the Kenda # KE22XJ you got, I recommend going with the DeeMaxx Trailer Wheel XL Lug Nut - Chrome - 1/2" - Qty 1 # DE23KR. This is 1-7/8" long and fits 1/2"-20 wheel studs. It is also skinnier than other options, which is why it is a very good option for the wheels you have.
Oh and if you don't have center caps, I highly recommend the Taskmaster Center Cap - Gloss Black # CXF106B. This fits the 3.19"... view full answer...
Hey David, the minimum is usually 7 to 8 full lug nut turns on a 1/2 inch or 9/16 inch wheel stud so if you're only at 5 that is cause for concern. Not a lot of people would have been paying attention to this though so good on you for paying attention to that. We can help with longer studs or a new hub but I would need to know what capacity axle your trailer has. Looks like your wheel is a 5 on 4-1/2 inch so I would assume 3,500 lb axle? view full answer...
Welcome back Brody!
For the Kenda 215/60-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8" White Wheel - 4 on 4 - Load Range D # AM98NR, I recommend using the CE Smith Trailer Wheel Lug Nut - Zinc-Plated Steel - 1/2" - Qty 1 # CE11051. It a standard lug nut, but if you wanted something nicer, you could also use something like the DeeMaxx Trailer Wheel XL Lug Nut - Chrome - 1/2" - Qty 1 # DE23KR.
Really though, as long as the lug nut has a 60 degree cone, and matches the lugs (the two I mentioned above are... view full answer...
