This cover blends the strength of a hard tonneau with the easy handling of a soft one. The heavy-duty, leather-grain vinyl top is pressure bonded to thick aluminum slats, giving you a solid layer that resists dents, UV rays, and tough weather. It’s been tested to handle extreme temperatures from -40°F to 120°F. The blacked-out finish looks clean and uniform whether it’s rolled up or closed, and it’s strong enough to hold up to 400 lbs of evenly distributed weight.
The side rails mount inside the bed and are angled at 15 degrees, so the cover sits just 1/2" above the bed for a clean, flush look. The low stance doesn’t just look good—it also cuts down on wind drag and noise while helping with fuel economy. Because the rails install inside the bed, you still have full use of your stake pockets for tie-downs and other accessories.
When the tailgate’s closed and locked, your cargo is locked too. The slam latches at the tailgate snap down to secure the cover, and additional latches at the mid-bed automatically engage for extra protection. The hard aluminum slats make it far tougher to cut or pry open than a standard soft cover, giving you peace of mind when you leave gear in the bed.
Setup is straightforward thanks to clamp-on, no-drill rails that square themselves as you tighten them. That self-leveling design means the cover rolls evenly every time without binding or sagging. Hook-and-loop fasteners along the rails keep the edges tight in place, sealing out dust and water. This cover has been great over the past year! Very durable and easy to use. Only gripe is removing it as the latches are difficult to operate, but I don't need to do that often.

The quality of this product is very good. It fits perfectly on my Ram 2500 short bed. Admittedly, it took longer than I expected to install it but that was my fault. It helps to have two people working on it together. Once installed it worked exactly as advertised. Yes, I would recommend this item to a friend.
I had to return the cover because turns out my box on my pick up wasn’t square then by the cabin was wider than the far end so the Tonnele cover kept falling through and I never could get it installed properly so I had to send it back I did get a partial refund but overall I lost over $150 on the transaction
My advice is make sure your box is square.
Installation was simple and the cover has held up well. It provides protection to everything under it, just as we expected. We would buy it again!
This is the second Tuxedo tonneau cover that I have had. My current truck has a drop in bed liner which makes for a tighter fit, but it looks good, seems to be solid, and is simple to open and close
I installed it after watching YouTube and it was quite easy! It was hard to lock at first but then I moved the rear clamps closer to the end/clips and it now locks without hitting the top. Wind does not vibrate it at all. Ran it thru the carwash and minimal water was in the bed-coould've been I didn't press down on the velcro sides to really seal it. Happy with quality!
I am still loving my cover. No one has tried to break it open to see what is inside. You have to open the Tailgate to get to the release straps. My son and I installed it fairly easy. Just a matter of lining everything up. Perfect for someone in Construction. My friend from long time ago has had his expensive tools stolen 2 times. So do not say the cover is too expensive!
I'm 80 years old and with help from my 73 year old wife, quite easily installed our new TruXedo Sentry hard roll up cover in under an hour. The product arrived well packed with all components easily identifiable. This is the neatest tonneau cover I've owned. It is solid, well designed and open and closes with little effort. It also looks great on my '23 Ram.
With a minor addition the six and one-half cover works well with a cross-box toolbox in my truck's eight foot bed. It also rolls back to allow access for the fifth-wheel hitch when I need that to haul our 5th-wheel trailer.

I love this tonneau cover. The only reason it's 4 stars is that on installation, one of the tie down straps broke. TruXedo immediately replaced it. In the first month, the lip over the tailgate started peeling. TruXedo immediately sent me a second tonneau cover, free of charge. Now I have a spare. Even though I've had a couple of issues, this thing is awesome and sturdy. TruXedo's customer service has been amazing.

Overall this hard cover has held up very well. Provides greater access to truck bed versus folding covers.
This cover installed easily with a little help from my 18 yr old son. I opted for the vinyl (Sentry) over the fabric (Sentry CT) and I don’t regret that choice at all. The cover fits snug and gives truck a nice clean/sleek look. Only thing that was a minor issue was no primer/adhesion promoter is included. We will see if the seal provided stands up without it. I do have the factory spray on bed liner so I was expecting to see a little kit included. Otherwise, the cover is perfect!
Finally found a bed cover to fit my Nissan Frontier PRO 4X with factory utility rails .... pros at e-trailer provided the exact model I needed ... easy install, no issues.
Note: when working alone, close the tailgate and locate the side rails in place by compressing the rubber seals at each end of the rail. This holds the rail in place making clamp install very easy. This process also assures that holes are in alignment for cover installation...
The package received was previously opened before, it is likely a returned item, the hardware and brackets are missing. I hope e-trailer is going to help getting a new unopened complete set.
Disappointing!
So far so good. Installation instructions were clear. It take my a while to do the final adjustments at the tailgate so that it would lock. That being said, once I did that, operation is easy and I love how solid this roll up is.
Just love this Truxedo Sentry on my truck. It makes items in the bed of the truck way more secure than the canopy I had. So happy with my purchase!
