Very nice Tonneau cover once installed. The paper instruction manual is though to understand. Good thing I found an installation video that was a great help.
I have owned 2 of these covers. Had one on my 2500 that my wife and I liked so put one on my new 3500. I like the convience of being able to open/close the cover with little effort. There is no exposed lock that can be hacked/picked so the only way in is either destroy the metal cover or tailgate. I have been very happy with it and will have one on my next truck.
This cover fit my truck bed to a T with nicely sized rubber seals along the edges. The UltraGroove allowed me to install a Yakima rack system that is the most sturdy of any racks I have owned in 20 years for my kayaks. All in all I couldn't be happier with this tonneau cover.
I’ve had my PE Ultra Groove hard tonneau cover on my 2019 RAM 1500 Bighorn for a year now and I’m very pleased with it. My biggest concern when I bought it was if it would be water tight. I’m happy to report that after a few heavy rain storms and several tripe through the car wash it hasn’t leaked at all. Far superior to the BackFlip cover I had previously.
It is very low maintenance as the only thing I need to do periodically is lube the track with 303 vinyl dressing so it retracts easily. It does “flutter” a bit at freeway speed but it doesn’t appear to be at all problematic.
Still very happy almost a year after installing it on my 2020 F350 long bed. Every time I watch other people fiddle and diddle with their roll-up or fold-up tonneau covers, I know I made the right decision. It retracts nicely into the canister at the front of the bed, and easily pulls back as far as I need it to go. I tow a 5th wheel RV, and can pull the cover right up to the 5th wheel hitch, keeping some of the cargo under cover. The drain tubes work pretty well, keeping the bed dry, although the front 2 drain tubes periodically clog up with dirt and debris. It's a minor issue that's not difficult to deal with. I would buy this cover again should the need arise.
It's a well built tonneau cover. It was very difficult to install, but I got it done. It operates good and looks good. The only drawback, is it leaks water bad. In the spring, I'll silicone around the front two drain lines at the roller box, and on the top rear roller box cover plate. Hope it helps.
Functionality - eTrailer's videos were very accurate about its features, installation and operation. Its functionality met my needs
Performance - works as expected. Cover leaks alittle but what I expected.
Installation - eTrailers videos along with the included instructions made installation fairly straight forward, but kinda tedious. I had a problem getting one of the 4 (or 6 I forget) support brackets to slide down the rail grooves. It took a long while and hassle to find the problem (thought it was defective), but found the set screw was turned in too far and causing resistance. I guess that was on me I should have found that sooner, but the first 3 (or 5) brackets set screws were set correctly and slid easily. Check the set screws!
Durability - My truck lives outside, so after one year of winter and summer weather, it works as new and still looks good (cover is dirty in picture). Two issues (see picture): the provided side wall top covers are thin cheap plastic and warped (picture). Also the roll up head canister appears to have shifted a little with the top cover almost off the front seal. This will take some effort to fix. I know I installed it correctly withe good tightening of all attachments, so I attribute this to a less than robust attachment design. How about fixing these Pace Edwards!
This cover was easily installed. So far, it functions perfectly. Glides easily to open and close. I love the fact that is closed partially every 12 inches. Should help to keep things a little drier when towing my fifth wheel.
Received the Pace Edwards UltraGroove Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover in a box that was destroyed! The contents made it okay, except I did not receive the truck bed stake hole covers. I'm sure etrailer will make good on it as they have great customer service! However this review is for the cover and although the cover seems okay....the instructions totally suck! For $[XXXX] dollars, I expect more!
This is my second Pace Edwards UltraGroove, I really love it. I traded in my last truck and this topper was on it and still ran smooth after three years of opening and closing it thousands of times!

I really like this cover after owning it for a year. Adam was a big help when I bought it and works very well and has ultra low profile which I like. I like the way it can snap into place and not only full open or close. Installation was pretty easy. We own a fifth wheel and this cover works excellent for our needs.
Pace Edwards ultra groove is an awesome hard roll up tonneau cover. Beats other competitors pricing. Installation was a little more involved for one person and instructions were hard to follow, but all good things take time. Very pleased with the install, definitely buy it again
Arrived quickly, fit and works as expec ted.
The cover is awesome. Installation took a little longer than expected. The removal of the tie downs in a new truck with lineX was challenging. The brackets that replace the tie downs weren't useful. They are supposed to support the box for the cover within a slight gap which could be filled with included shims. Installed as shown in the directions, the brackets left a 2" gap which I had to make. By the time you get that far in the install, you're too committed to try and figure out if the instructions were bad, what other way the brackets might work as expected etc. It was superficial at that point and I created my own shims from pressure treated wood. Love the cover though. It operates very smoothly and looks great on the truck.
easy to install and a great product for the money
Really like this Edwards Ultra Grove Tonneau cover. Does everything I wanted it to do. Keeps my cargo dry, fairly secure, it wouldn’t be easy to break into. I installed it by myself self in about an hour. etrailer Installation video made install easy.
I am very happy with this cover now that I have it installed. The cover is great, the directions not so much. Thankfully Brittany from etrailer sent links to some videos which helped tremendously with the installation. I did have difficulty with one side locking when fully closed and could not find any trouble shooting information in the directions or videos but did find a set screw that allowed me to adjust the stop and everything works quite well now. I love that the cover retracts smoothly and latches securely while still allowing for a ladder rack. Nice fit and finish.
The cover is excellent, but the installation instructions are pretty vague, and leave a lot out. Watch the eTrailer videos, they're much more helpful.
Installation Tip - After you prop up the canister on something at the front of the bed, take the box that the rails came in and lay it perpendicular across the bed between the tailgate and wheel wells. That way you can lay the rails on it when installing them to the bed, lest everything comes crashing down once you get the first rail on and then try to get the second one on! Ask me how I know! :)
Ordered and it was at my home in 3 days and installed in 1/2 day by myself I took my time following instructions no drilling no marring just a fine tight tonneau cover that looks great on my new lariat dually
Took my time installing it. For the most part no problems. I see some concerns around the tailgate. (Sealing) I like the ease of retracting and opening it. With tailgate locked, its very easy to open with a flat putty knife. Overall I Like the appearance and the way its constructed. Only had it a few days so time will tell.
Quality product that fits my requirements. However, I would ask for clearer installation instructions.
Quick delivery, solid construction, easy assembly, beautiful result. Delivered in two boxes, rails in one, rollup cover in another. Well protected in the boxes. Parts included replacements for truck bed popouts with drain holes pre-cut. Quality parts throughout. Instructions were a little hard to follow but it is just a straightforward mounting process. Easy to do in two to three hours.
This is my second truck with this cover only difference is the second truck has an 8 foot bed. I LOVE THIS COVER!! I like the low profile and the way it clicks in every 12 inches which allows me to close it somewhat with no issues. We have a 5th wheel and can cover the bed a little and keep things more dry. Installation is very easy just need patience and time. Cover was delivered on the worst weather day, very rainy. Cover was packaged very well and contents were in great shape when I arrived home. Great job etrailer and love when you have problems someone is there to answer the call and very friendly and helpful.
