When the weather turns rough, this cover keeps your gear dry and out of sight. The double-coated, reinforced vinyl with cross-weave backing resists tears and holds tight against rain, snow, and dust. Weather seals run the perimeter to block out moisture without the need for drain tubes. Rounded corners and beveled edges help water shed cleanly off the sides instead of pooling on top.
You don’t have to take the cover off to haul larger items. The Latitude’s tri-fold panels open from the tailgate to give you two-thirds bed access. When folded, the cover secures neatly with built-in buckles so you can drive with taller cargo. Pinch levers on both sides let you release the panels easily, and the cover latches shut whether the tailgate is open or closed.
Loose fabric can flap or sag over time, but this one stays tight on its own. The self-tensioning frame keeps the vinyl pulled flat across the bed, so it looks clean and doesn’t move in the wind. That tension also helps maintain a better seal when temperatures change or after repeated folding.
Some covers stick out above the bed rails and look bulky. The Latitude sits only 1-1/2" above the rails for a clean, flush appearance. The textured matte black finish blends with the truck’s trim and hides dust and fingerprints, keeping it looking sharp with minimal upkeep.
Installation doesn’t need drills or tools—clamp it inside the bed rails and you’re done. Once in place, the integrated tailgate lock helps keep everything underneath secure. You can open or close the cover with the tailgate in either position, and the two-finger latch release makes it quick to operate from either side.

What's going on, everybody. Adam here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the line of Leer Latitudes soft folding tonneau covers. If you're looking to maybe protect some of that stuff in the bed of your truck on rainy or snowy days and not really looking to spend a whole lot of money on a tonneau cover, well, this is definitely gonna be one that's gonna keep all your contents dry and also maybe boost that fuel economy if you're going on long trips. It's very cost-effective way to get a tonneau cover onto the bed of your truck. And the nice thing about it is it's super easy to fold back.
You just need one hand, you can do it from either side. Go ahead and fold this back, like this, clip it into place, and then you go ahead and drive like this. So if you have a little bit of wet stuff in there and it's not raining or snowing and you kind of want to let it dry over the drive you can go ahead and do that. This is a vinyl cover and it is gonna sit on the top of the bedrails. It only sits up about an inch.
So it's not a whole lot but one thing I did notice about this it really looks like leather and it's not too glossy, so you're not gonna get a bunch of glares if the sun's behind you and you're driving. That's something I kind of look for. Also, I've noticed that it has a really good seal back here. We've got a little flap here. So whenever we close our tailgate it's gonna be a nice seal and all the way around we're gonna have the same exact amount of seal, so I don't think any water's gonna get inside of the tonneau cover.
If you have a locking tailgate this is gonna secure all your stuff inside. With the nice seal that we have, it's gonna be really hard for someone to get their fingernails underneath there and really pull it up. They're gonna break the tonneau cover in the process of doing that, but it's still a lot of effort they have to go through to get into the bed of your truck. And again, they don't know what's in there. So they might be opening it up to nothing, they might be opening it up to a bunch of tools, Either-or it's gonna add a little bit of security and peace of mind, whenever you just leave your truck sitting.
This is definitely your entry-level tonneau cover, but if that's what you're really looking for, this is gonna be a great option. It's super, super easy to install and really easy to operate. They have a sink type clamp that they are very proud about, and I honestly like it, super easy to use and really, really simple to install. So that means it's gonna be really easy to uninstall if you decide you don't want it. And that's gonna do it for our look at the line of Leer Latitudes soft folding tonneau covers..

The cover was easy to install and will be just as easy to remove if I ever need to. Looks great and will do exactly what I need it to do, I.E. increase the usefulness of my truck!
Did not come with the hardware kit. Was told the kit is out of stock and that it might take two weeks to receive it.

Over all the cover looks great. The only think is that I had to adjust one side of the latch rod. And as I tighten the set screw the insert started to pull out. I pushed it back in. Seems to be OK. Hope this will not be a problem later on

I had a Leer soft tonneau, which was stolen (believe it or not!) I guess the highest compliment I can give is that I bought the same cover again.
Allows water into the bed and the area with the name tags cannot be touched when it's in the sun. You get a black sticky marks on your hand.
Went on pretty easy and fits well on 2018 RAM 1500. Adjusting the latch took a few extra minutes but it works well. The install video really helped!
I’ve been using this cover for over a year now and it’s still working as expected and holding up well cosmetically. I live in Pittsburgh PA so we get a good amount of sun and ice. This is the 2nd cover I’ve had over the last 13 years now and I would definitely buy this cover again.

Perfect fit for my 2023 f150
Overall, I am completely satisfied with the Leer Latitude Soft Tonneau Cover. I went with this cover because it comes from a name I can trust and it was an affordable cover at the time of purchase. It offers enough protection from the elements to suit my needs. It also adds to the sleekness of my 2019 Ford F-150. Most importantly, it keeps wandering eyes from seeing what is in the bed of my truck. It was extremely easy to install and I would absolutely not hesitate to buy this cover again.
