How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Bestop EZ Fold Soft Tonneau Cover on our 2023 Ford F-150. Having our tonneau cover on the back of your truck is gonna allow you to get better fuel economy and less wind drag, so it'll help your, you know, gas go a little bit further along. If you're looking for something that's gonna give you higher security, it's a okay option. Nonetheless, anytime you have a fabric, you can cut through it, so that would be a drawback to it. However, it's super lightweight with the aluminum frame where it's easy for one person to remove it and take it off as needed. As far as your quick latches, these are gonna allow you to quickly take down your cover and expose 3/4 of your bed while it's in the folded position.
Another great thing about this, a lot of tonneau covers that are tri-fold, they fold upward and block out your taillight, I'm sorry, your rear view mirror and your back window, whereas this one, it's gonna fold flat and allow you to be able to maintain that visibility. And as you see, the underside, you're gonna see you have cross rails that are gonna give you that stability on your fabric over the time of your usage going down the road. And when you get to a point where you're needing a portion of your bed open, you can use the straps to contain the cover to the back of the truck. Out of all the covers that I've fit to this vehicle, I would say that this is gonna be the easiest to handle by yourself without needing assistance, and it's one of the most lightweights that are available. Removing it is definitely a one person job just like installing is if you have a little bit of patience and take advantage of the resources around you like using your bulkhead to kinda give you additional support.
If you're looking for a lightweight soft cover option for your truck, this is gonna be one of my best picks for your vehicle. Now, let me show you how you install it on the back of your truck. So now, we're gonna take our EZ Fold out of the box and install it on our F-150. It's already pre-assembled and designed to install super easy. Now that we've unboxed our EZ Fold, we're gonna extend it across the bed.
I like to use the bulkhead to kinda guide it across. Wouldn't be a bad idea if you had an extra set of hands to give you some help, but it's definitely doable solo. So once I have it over, I'm gonna lower the handle and align it where it fits underneath the ridge of the bed. So I'm gonna twist it up. (tonneau cover clanking) I found that it was actually easier to just hop in the bed.
And that way, you can make sure you get everything lined up correctly to fasten it down. And we're gonna do the same with the second set. If this we inchesre a permanent installation, the first step we would've done was remove the weather stripping, double-sided heat adhesive that's on the back of the cover. Since this is just a test fit for demonstration purposes, we're gonna skip that step. Now that we have everything fastened in, we're gonna unbuckle both the driver and passenger's side, and we're gonna get our first flip. And then we're gonna move to the second, and we're gonna make sure we're aligned in a way where we're not gonna interfere with the tailgate. And we're gonna repeat the same process of fastening our latches. All right, and we're just gonna twist this last latch into position under the lip of the bed, and extend it, so it locks into place. You also wanna make sure with positioning that you give yourself enough room, so your bed can close and not have a gap. Great product and great service. The cover arrived with one of the hinges broken. I reported it and with in a week I had a new hinge sent to me. Five minute repair and I'm good to go. No problems since.

Just installed this tonneau cover I have to say the instructions were good took about 15 minutes to fully install the cover. Very easy to install and I'm no expert no tools needed and the cover looks great and if needed to take off very easily comes off. I have only had installed for couple days but looks great just have to see how it holds up but already have received compliments on this cover thanks Cathy (sales representative).
This tonneau cover arrived just as advertised by etrailer. Thanks to the outstanding videos on the etrailer web site, I knew exactly what to expect. etrailer has become my go to place for anything car or RV related!
This is a great cover for the money, fits great, installation was super easy, has nice low profile look and is super easy to use. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because one of the clamps that is supposed to be free sliding was stuck I tried to free it loose with a flat head screw driver and hammer per the advice of Bestop customer service but it wouldn't break loose so I just tapped into place with the hammer and screw driver.
This is a great cover, it meets all my requirements. I wanted a cover that is easy to put on and off and is light weight.
I also appreciate Etrailers price matching policy. I found it for less after ordering and they mmediately matched the new price.
latch broke on my first trip.(1 hour I need replacement latch as the current one came appart. Ilike the aluminum frame , but not a fan of the latch.

Easy installation. After almost 2” of rain recently the truck box remained dry.
Product was good fit for my Ford ranger,only issue was a couple of the latches were hard to slide. Customer service service was 5-star!
Received item a day sooner than the estimated date. Package in good shape and all parts were there. Installed it this morning with no issues on my 2018 Nissan Frontier crew cab and it fit perfect. Took about 20 minutes to install.

It is fantastic!
I received my vinyl tonneau cover and it happened to have a small cut in it (looked to have been caused during delivery). I contacted the customer service department and made them aware of the issue. With in a day I was contacted by the customer service department and was told a replacement product would be sent and UPS would be picking up the damaged cover. I could not have asked for a better, faster, and extremely easy to work with company. I received my new tonneau cover and it is perfect.
My truck bed cover worked great over 3869 miles. Drove from Houston, TX to Orange County, CA and back in 6/2020. No leaks either. We were in a terrible storm with hail in Witchita Falls,TX. It looks good too! I was really fortunate to purchase the cover at a great discount due to a small blemish. The item arrived as scheduled. Customer service is great!
I feel I received good value for the money. Very easy to install and remove or fold-up.
So far, the material has held up well, though I think the clamps could use a little more reinforcement. The only complaint is that despite trying to get the cover as tight as possible, it flaps in the wind while driving and I am concerned that it will accelerate deterioration of cover, perhaps if were a little heavier. That all said, I would recommend this cover.
