When you need to haul large gear or bulky materials, the BAKFlip G2 makes it simple. The quad-fold cover can be flipped all the way up and secured upright with built-in prop rods, giving you full use of your bed without removing the cover. Rubber bumpers keep the panels from touching the cab, while buckle straps let you secure the folded panels when you just need partial access. Rain, snow, or car wash water won’t catch this cover off guard. Matte black rubber seals run along all edges to close off gaps, while built-in gutters and drain hoses channel away any water that gets through. The rustproof aluminum panels are insulated with closed-cell foam for added strength and topped with a UV-resistant black paint finish that stays durable season after season.
From start to finish, operating the G2 is quick and intuitive. You can unlatch any section from either side using easy-reach pull cords, fold it forward, and secure it in seconds. Each panel latches automatically when closed—no fiddling or alignment needed. The low-profile rails mount inside the bed for a clean look and keep your stake pockets open for other accessories.
Installation doesn’t need special tools or drilling into your truck bed. The aircraft-grade aluminum frame rails clamp inside the bed rails and align easily thanks to slotted brackets on the hinge rail. Once tightened down, you get a snug, watertight fit that’s ready to go without extra modifications or hardware.

After using it for a while Im extremely happy with this cover. It has been a game changer, making my 2008 Ford Ranger bed far more useable and convenient for carrying a variety of items. One of the best purchases Ive ever made for it.

Hi Mardy. I have heard this to be a difficult install and the latches to be stiff (though adjusting them helps), but noisy, flimsy, and poor quality are firsts for a BAK product like this. What kind of noise are you getting? Is something maybe not tightened down all the way causing part to stick up? And, what part are you finding flimsy or poor quality?

After year of use I love the tonneau cover. had issues installing but after using for a year I would give it a five star.

Actually its closer to two years and I could not be more pleased. I have done a few rainy road trips and the one thing that worried me was if it would keep the contents dry and it did. Al else about the cover has been good too. Good product and it fit like a glove.

Generally this cover continues to perform well. There is a small leak, which I haven’t been able to locate, but it’s not enough to do any harm to whatever may be in the bed. I would still recommend this cover.

It has been holding on strong. One of the weather strips was coming undone, but I was able to adhere it back down.
