Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look together at this Timbren front wheel BES brake upgrade kit. Now, this kit has been designed to fit your 2023 to current Ford F-350 Super Duty, the two-wheel-drive version. Now, upgrading the suspension on your truck can definitely improve that ride quality, help reduce sag, and make your truck feel more stable while you're towing or hauling, but it does not reduce the extra workload that's placed on your factory brakes. So if you've ever felt like your truck takes longer to stop while you're towing a heavy trailer or hauling a heavy load, maybe your brakes are wearing out faster than you expected them to, or maybe that added weight is making your braking feel less confident, that's where this BES brake upgrade kit is going to come into play. This kit is designed to give your truck stronger, more consistent braking when it's carrying those heavier loads. These low-metallic OnyxBite brake pads are going to give you a strong initial bite and eliminate brake fade that occurs with frequent stopping when towing. On the other side here, we have this multi-layered rubber shim that's gonna help stabilize the brake pads during braking. And on your screen, I have a closer view of one of those shims, just showing you that multi-layered construction. And then the second photo there shows you that brake pad with the shim pulled off, again, just to give you a closer look at that construction. So the shims are going to help reduce vibration. It's gonna keep brake noise to a minimum, all without sacrificing braking performance.

These positive-molded pads paired with these precision-balanced rotors are gonna promote smooth, even braking, and a more consistent pedal feel. Speaking of these rotors, these are OEM-style rotors. Now, these are very heavy. I needed help getting them placed on my table. So I'm gonna try to carefully turn this one around just so you have a clear view.

As you can see, these rotors are going to be vented. That's gonna help dissipate heat during repeated stops. It's gonna help reduce brake fade when towing, giving you a view of the back inside of the rotor as well. And these are premium G3000 raw iron rotors. They do feature Timbren's OnyxBond matte black coating on the hat, vanes, and outer edges. As you know, heat is indeed the enemy of brakes. So the OnyxBond coating has a heat threshold of up to 932 degrees Fahrenheit, which is 67% better than standard Geomet coatings that are most commonly used on OEM parts. This coating is also gonna help protect the rotors from rust caused by road spray, moisture, and winter driving, keeping your brakes looking cleaner between services, all without affecting braking performance. These pads, by the way, also feature a bed-in coating indicated by the blue stripes here. So that's gonna transfer to the rotor to protect them during the first stops. So you're gonna be able to enjoy more consistent braking performance sooner after installation. Speaking of which, installation should be relatively straightforward. Again, just keep in mind, these front rotors are very heavy, so you do wanna make sure that you have enough support when you're swapping them out.
