Towing or hauling heavy gear can make the rear end sag and throw off your steering and braking. These Hellwig Load Pro 25 Progressive Helper Springs add up to 2,500 lbs of load-leveling capacity to keep your truck steady and level under weight. By mounting above your factory leaf springs, they reduce sway and body roll so you stay in control whether you’re pulling a trailer or carrying a full bed of tools.

The progressive rate design automatically adjusts to the load on your vehicle for a balanced, comfortable ride. When you’re unloaded, the springs flex with your factory suspension and stay out of the way. As weight increases, they step in to provide extra support, keeping the ride smooth instead of harsh or bouncy. It’s smart load control that works quietly in the background.
Uneven cargo can make one side sag more than the other. Each Hellwig helper spring can be adjusted independently using the included U-bolts, so you can fine-tune tension side-to-side for a level stance even with off-center loads. This helps maintain solid handling and even tire wear no matter how your gear is stacked.
These helper springs are made from strong steel and finished with a silver vein hammer tone powder coat that resists corrosion. The bolt-on installation kit comes ready to mount above your rear leaf springs without complex modifications, giving you long-term stability and confidence every time you hook up a trailer or load up for work.

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look together at this Hellwig LoadPro 25 Progressive Helper Springs with custom mounting kit. Now this has been designed to fit your 1970 to 1980 Dodge M300 and M400s, then your 1975 to 1998 Ford van E-350. On custom fit parts such as these springs, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com. Simply input the year, make, and model of your vehicle, and our fit guide will confirm if this will work for you, or if we have something comparable that will work for you. So when you're hauling heavy loads in your truck or in your van, sagging can be a real problem.
With these LoadPro Helper Springs, these are gonna give you up to a 2,500 pound load leveling capacity for your rear suspension. So this means that your vehicle will maintain a level stance, improving your steering and braking while towing or carrying heavy loads. So you can say goodbye to excessive sway and body roll when towing trailers or carrying heavy loads. These progressive rate springs are going to adjust according to the load on your vehicle. They flex with your leaf springs to help keep bouncing at bay.
So that's gonna ensure a stable ride and a smoother ride. Now when your load is not distributed evenly, the ability to independently adjust the U-bolts for each side of your vehicle is gonna be a game changer for you. So whether you're towing or hauling, you can customize the suspension to support, to maintain the balance and comfort during your drive. Now these helper springs not only provide immediate load support, but they also extend the life of your vehicle's factory suspension, tires, and brakes. And with the lifetime warranty, you're gonna be able to tow or haul with confidence knowing that your investment is backed for the long haul.
So if your vehicle is equipped with factory contact overloads, it may be necessary to remove those to install this. So you would have to follow the instructions to see what your particular application or vehicle requires. And I also wanted to mention that you don't want to install these on vehicles with composite or plastic leaf springs because these are so robust, it could potentially fracture or damage those composite or plastic leaf springs. And again, this is gonna give you a leveling capacity up to 2,500 pounds, but these do not actually increase your vehicle's weight carrying capacity. So you want to make sure that you're not exceeding your manufacturer's recommended weight limits.
But if you have any other questions that I did not cover for you today, don't hesitate to reach back out to us. We do want to make sure that you're getting exactly what you want and need. Well again, my name's Andy, thank you for joining me.

So far so good! purchased these for my old supercrew to locally haul my 16'trailer dbl axle utility trailer loaded with my 3540 W/cab/loader/box blade. Most of the machine weight (maybe 6K) is centered over the trailer axles, but these helper springs do a lot for keeping the sag up and balanced.
