Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look together at these Hellwig Load Pro 35 progressive helper springs. Now, these springs have been designed to fit your 2020 and newer Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 3500, both the two- and four-wheel drive models. And on custom-fit parts such as these springs, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com. Simply input the year, make, and model of your vehicle, and our fit guide will confirm if these springs will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. Now, these custom helper springs have a load leveling capacity of 3,500 pounds, and they're going to install above your truck's rear factory leaf springs to help reduce sway and body roll while preventing sagging when towing or hauling heavy loads.
And they're going to extend the life of your factory suspension, tires, and brakes. And then these springs will flex with your leaf springs to limit bouncing while giving you optimal stability. Now, these progressive rate springs are going to adjust to the load, rather, on your truck for an improved ride. And what's nice about these springs is they're not going to affect your ride while you're unloaded. This will be a bolt-on installation above your factory leaf springs with the included custom installation kit.
And as you can see here, I kind of put the U-bolts and the hardware in the places where they're going to install, these springs, above your axle on your truck. So I just kinda wanted to give you an idea of where the parts are going to go when you're installing this. But it does include the custom installation kit designed for your Silverado or Sierra 3500s. Now, the driver's and the passenger side can be adjusted independently for uneven loads. And if your vehicle is equipped with a factory contact overload, that may need to be removed before installing the new helper springs.
So you do wanna consult your installation guide. And you don't wanna install these on vehicles with composite or plastic leaf springs. Because these springs are so robust, they could potentially fracture or break those plastic or composite springs. These are made here in the USA of a durable steel construction, which is going to ensure long-lasting performance. And these springs do feature a silver vein hammertone finish, which not only looks great, but it's going to do a great job of resisting rust and corrosion.
Again, the weight capacity that these offer are 3,500 pounds. But do be aware of the fact that these do not actually increase your truck's weight carrying capacity. So you wanna make sure that don't exceed the manufacturer's recommended weight limit for your truck. Instructions are included to guide you through the installation process. And if you do decide to pick these up, we would love to hear back from you regarding your experience with getting these installed and using them. You can share your experience with us by dropping a comment or leaving a review on this product page. And if you have any additional questions that I did not cover with you today, don't hesitate to give us a call. We'd love to help you out. Well, that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
