Heavy loads can cause the back of your vehicle to sag and add unnecessary stress to your suspension. This can affect your braking, handling, headlight aim, and even the wear on your tires. To improve your vehicle's ability to endure heavy loads, you need to add support to your existing coil springs.
Air Lift's 1000 Universal Air Springs fit inside your rear coil springs and have 1,000 pounds of load-leveling capacity. You can inflate and deflate these tough polyurethane helper springs as needed, ensuring the perfect amount of support for every load. It comes with manual inflation valves that are typically mounted on the bumper but can be installed anywhere on your vehicle for easy access. For even more convenience and control, you can add a compressor (sold separately), which will let you monitor and inflate your air springs.
If there isn't a specific Air Lift 1000 Air Spring kit for your vehicle, you can use a universal kit to get the support you need. However, you'll have to take a couple measurements on your rear coil springs to ensure you get the right fit. Also, this kit will not fit vehicles with coil-over shocks or coil springs with internal jounce bumpers.
First, unload your vehicle to make sure it's at normal ride height. Then, measure the inside height of your coil spring, which will be from the upper spring seat to the lower spring seat. Lastly, measure the inside diameter of the spring at its widest point. Once you have these measurements, use the table below to find the correct kit by matching up your diameter and height values. Since the air spring cylinder will inflate, it's okay if the cylinder is slightly undersized compared to the size of the coil spring. The spring pitch will also indicate the total air pressure the bag should hold. This measurement is the distance between the coils. The bag can hold 50 psi if it is less than 1" and 35 psi if it is greater than 1". Additionally, some kits include spacers to make up for any height differences.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Air Lift 1000 Universal Air Helper Springs for your rear coil springs. Now this kit here will provide your vehicle with up to a thousand pounds of load leveling support. This will help reduce the strain on your rear suspension and improves both safety and ride quality that is designed to support your existing rear coil spring suspension when you're hauling or towing. Also, what's nice with this, this will keep your vehicle level when you're hauling a heavy load, improve steering and braking performance, helps maintain safe head lighting, that'll even keep your tires from wearing unevenly. This will let you manually adjust your air pressure to get the even load distribution support that you need.
You can level your vehicle front to rear and with the installation of dual lines, you can inflate each spring independently for side to side leveling of any off center loads. Now, the adjustable air pressure on these are five PSI up to 50 PSI. These do improve overall stability and ride quality. They'll help diminish sway, absorb road shock for a nice smooth ride. The springs themself are constructed of a durable molded polyurethane and they install inside your vehicle's rear coil spring suspension.
Now since this is a universal kit, you will need to make two important measurements to see if this will work for you. Basically, with your vehicle unloaded and a normal ride height, you'll wanna measure the inside height of your coil spring, which will be from the upper spring seat to the lower spring seat. And then next, you'll measure the inside diameter of the spring at its widest point. Once you have those measurements, use the table that's on this product page to pick the correct universal kit for your application. This kit here is designed to fit a maximum height measurement of nine inches and a minimum inside diameter of three inches.
Now since the air spring cylinder will inflate, it is okay if the cylinder is slightly undersized, compared to the size of the coil spring. Additionally, some of these kits do include spacers to make up for any height differences. Now this kit here includes everything shown here on the table. It'll include the two airs springs, the two heat shields with the clamps, the airline tubing, all the hardware you need, the Schrader valves for manual inflation. Now you can also add a compressor system within cab gauges to monitor and automatically adjust the air pressure.
Those items we do sell separately. And these parts are made in the USA. Load leveling capacity is up to a thousand pounds. Now these Air Lift 1000 springs will not increase your vehicle's weight carrying capacity, so you do wanna make sure not to exceed the manufacturer's recommended weight limit. But that's gonna do it for the review on this Air Lift 1000 Universal Air Helper Springs for your rear coil springs.

This air spring kit leveled our RAV4 just the right amount. We towed a LivinLite 8.1 all over the western US with no issues. The install takes a bit of effort (and do be sure to measure carefully if using a universal fit), but once in it was easy to set the pressure and I had no troubles with leaking. I ran the air valve to the side of the hitch to keep it out of the way.
its been a year of using the lift kit on the Jeep Wrangler Rubi (4door). no issues. did replace the clips with tighter fitting clips.
not much else to say. works as advertised.

The new listing you added on your site for fitment of these air bags will undoubtedly help many customers the same as it helped me. etrailer has been my go to site for many of the items needed for an offroad teardrop camper build I'm working on that is towed by the wrangler, and again you guys came through for me. They work great they stopped the SAG
The airlift system works very well. I installed a leveling kit on my truck. Even with a small load in the bed of my truck, the truck showed sag. With the airbags, I can inflate to the desired height before I load the bed and it doesn't appear to squat!
Works great , I put a Bluetooth compressor with it.

What a great product, I use one of these kits,I don’t know 10 years ago and thought I would come back to the company because they provided such a good quality 10 years ago and again it never fails. Put them in my grand Cherokee yesterday. And they are working perfectly today. Great product perfect. They sent extra stuff with it that I didn’t even need which is always a nice touch. Holy cow, so it’s been over a year, I have had no problems at all matter fact, I forgot the airbags were even on there, they’ve held air once I got them where I want them. I have not even touch them they work fantastic, like I said 10 years ago I used them on the wife’s car and I came back because it’s such a great product, kudos to airlift.
