Features to know about

Keep Your Lowered Truck Level and Confident: Up to 2,000 lbs of Rear Suspension Support

Lowering a truck looks great, but it can eat into suspension travel and make bottoming out a regular thing. SlamAir air helper springs add up to 2,000 lbs of load-leveling capacity to bring that strength back. They mount between the frame and leaf springs to keep your ride level under load, improve steering and braking, and maintain proper headlight aim. With the extra support in place, your lowered setup stays stable and controlled even when you’re hauling or towing.

Dial In the Ride You Want: Adjustable Air Pressure from 5 psi to 100 psi

Every load is different, especially with a lowered truck that sees both daily driving and hauling duty. The SlamAir system lets you adjust each air spring anywhere from 5 psi to 100 psi so you can match support to your setup. Inflate both evenly for front-to-rear leveling or tune them independently to even out side-to-side weight. Go firm for heavy loads or drop the pressure for smoother unloaded cruising—it’s all under your control.

Prevent Bottoming Out and Uneven Tire Wear: Designed for Lowered Trucks

Lowered suspension can lose valuable travel distance, making it easy to hit the bump stops over dips or driveways. SlamAir springs are built specifically for lowered trucks with a 2- to 6-inch drop, giving you adjustable cushion that prevents bottoming out while improving ride comfort and tire life. By keeping the rear height consistent, they also reduce sway and keep your suspension geometry where it should be.

Simple Setup and Flexible Control: Manual Valves with Compressor Upgrade Option

Each kit includes air line fittings, two air springs, mounting brackets, tubing, hardware, and manual inflation valves that typically mount on the bumper for easy access. You can inflate them by hand using any air source, or add an optional compressor system with in-cab gauges later for automatic adjustment. Either way, setup is straightforward and gives you quick access to tuning without complicated electronics or special tools.

Kit fit great , I have a 6/9 drop on my 95 cc dually and on the stock 16s with 245/75 there is plenty of clearance, I haven't had time to test fit my dk tuck 22s yet but I'll hopefully know in a few weeks. I did tow a loaded car trailer this weekend and it towed awesome with about 75 psi it never hit the notch and rode very nice. I'll keep playing with air pressure to find the perfect unloaded psi but coming home after dropping the van and trailer off I dropped them down to about 33 psi and it still rode great where before I was bottom out in the bolt in notch all the time

1 year update , still working great and with my tuck 22s on there was almost enough clearance but I did grind a little off the outer lip of the upper bag mounts to clear the rim with extra room when the truck was on the loft and the rear hanging but with the truck on its own weight there wasnt any clearance issues and I only took a little off to make sure there was extra room it wasnt 100 necessary

Doesn’t work with a lowered 2000 GMC. Useing bell tech 2/4 lowering kit. Per instruction for bracket mounting with tool mounted upper bracket lowered axle noted that axle at full drop bag was at least 3 inches short. Flipped top bracket legs up. Axle at hanging bag would mount no problems. Everything went together perfectly per instruction. Truck back on the ground noted back end Was 2 inches high than before. With 10 pounds in bags ride was bad. Removing them.

Works well, great product! Was sold the wrong set on the first purchase. This was the second purchased. I asked for a discounted purchase because it was wring and was able to use the wrung ines in my other truck. Never heard back and the purchase was completed without any discounts.

Installed these on a lowered 2014 f150 to help when I tow my boat. The directions aren’t very good and the install was a pain as far as mounting the top bracket to the Frame. My frame rails weren’t flat so the top brackets took some work to get them correct. Overall they do what was expected and seem to be ok so far. I’ve only driven for about 50 miles at the moment.
by:
It was very easy to install especially since I already had a C-Notch done in the back with an axle flip. With this added on I no longer band the axle against the bottom of the bed floor.

Worked perfect for my 2006 f150 on a 3/5 drop. Towed a camper with it no problems
by:
Great fit. Work perfectly for what I needed. Quick shipment also from etrailer.com
by:
Self-installed product one year ago. Still working great and would recommend this product.

2011 Chevrolet Silverado
The kit came with everything needed and seems to be good quality. My application didn't quite work as it should because of my weld in cnotch, but still performs how it should. Great kit.
by:
Used it with a mcgaughys c notch, fit fine.
by:
Looks like described and very happy thanks

Hey Robert, we actually have an Air Lift air bag kit that fits your 1997 C1500 that was lowered 3 inches with the Air Lift SlamAir part # AL59103. This would be exactly what you are looking for and would do a great job giving you extra suspension support. Are you wanting a compressor kit as well?

  • What is the Minimum Installed Height of the Air Lift SlamAir Air Helper Springs for Lowered Trucks
I don't have the minimum installed height of the Air Lift SlamAir Air Helper Springs for Lowered Trucks part # AL59103 as you put but I can confirm that the kit is designed for a vehicle with a 2-4" drop. If you need more, you can use the Air Lift SlamAir Air Helper Springs for Lowered Trucks part # AL59209 which is designed for a 4-6" drop.

  • Air Lift Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for a 2000 GMC Sierra with 4 inch Drop
Yes, the SlamAir Air Helper Springs # AL59202 that you referenced or the AL59103 would work well for suspension enhancement on your 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 with a 4 inch drop. The # AL59202 is for vehicles with a 4 to 6 inch drop, the # AL59103 is for 2-4 inch drops. Since most likely your suspension has some miles on it I would imagine that the ride height has lowered a bit more than the 4 inches over time so the 4-6 inch system # AL59202 would probably be more ideal for you. The 2,000...

  • Recommended Air Helper Springs for a Lowered 1996 Chevrolet C/K Series Pickup
The Air Lift SlamAir Air Helper Springs for Lowered Trucks part # AL59103 is confirmed to fit a 1996 Chevrolet C/K Series Pickup but is intended to be used on trucks that have been lowered 2"-4". The reason for the bag placement deals largely with the vehicle's altered suspension. The amount of support has more to do with the type of airbag (Sleeve/Convoluted) in comparison to its placement (Front of Axle/On Axle/Behind Axle). This is the only airbag kit we have designed for vehicles lowered...

  • Will Air Lift SlamAir AL59209 For 2016 GMC Sierra 3500 Fit 3 Wide Leaf Springs?
I have another option for you, but the Air Lift SlamAir # AL59103 is not confirmed to fit your 2016 GMC Sierra 3500. Instead we have the SlamAir # AL59209 which is confirmed to fit your 2016 GMC Sierra 3500 as long as it has the 6-3/4' bed, is 2WD, and does not have a 5th wheel or gooseneck hitch installed. If your truck does not match the above requirements then unfortunately we do not have a kit that will work for you. This will fit 3" wide leaf springs just fine as the U-bolts are 3"...

  • Best Airbags for a Lowered 1987 Chevrolet R10
In regards to the type of lowering kit that was installed on your 1987 Chevrolet R10, do you know if it was an axle flip kit installed (axle over leaf springs) or were lowering blocks/shackles used? If you have an axle flip kit then you are going to want to use the Air Lift SlamAir Air Helper Springs for Lowered Trucks part # AL59106BT but if you have lowering blocks/shackles then you will want to use the Air Lift SlamAir Air Helper Springs for Lowered Trucks part # AL59103. • Air Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 Lowered 4 inches
If your 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 is a 2 wheel drive truck and has a suspension drop the correct kit you would need is the part # AL59103. If you lowered your truck with like drop spindles or some other way that doesn't affect the suspension you would instead want a kit like part # AL59501.

  • SlamAir Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for 2006 Chevy Silverado with Lowering Shackles
Typically drop shackles will lower suspension right at 2 inches which is what the Air Lift SlamAir Air Helper Springs # AL59103 that you referenced is designed to work with. This kit is also a fit for your 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT as well. For a compressor kit to help make inflating and deflating the bags easier we have the Air Lift Load Controller II part # AL25592. This will allow you to maintain air pressure in the bags as well monitor the air pressure from the gauge that mounts...

  • Air Lift Air Bag Kit that Fits 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 with 4 inch Drop
Hey Jason, yes the Air Lift SlamAIr part # AL59103 that you referenced will fit and work great on your 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 that has a 4 inch drop.
