Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at this Curt spring-loaded snap hook for your safety chains or safety cables with a 5/8 inch eye rated at 3,500 pounds. So, if you don't know, a snap hook basically lets you quickly connect a safety cable or a safety chain to any application using the spring-loaded latch. (latch banging) And it keeps the hook from accidentally disconnecting because that spring load's gonna hold it closed. It accepts chain, cable, and rope up to 5/8 inches in diameter.
(hook banging) It's a nice heavy-duty steel construction. It's super strong and durable. It's got a nice zinc coating on it. It's gonna resist corrosion. And that's gonna wrap it up, folks.
Thanks for joining me. I'm Steven. Have a good one.
Perfect fit for replacement safety chain hooks on our travel trailer. I used 3/8” Quick Links to join the new hooks to the existing safety chains which made the chain length adjustment very easy to do.
Very good quality and holding well. I am using it for connecting boat tow strap to stern D rings.
Product does not fit Ford 2009 or 2015. Throat of the clip is to small to snap over factory Ford trailer hitch.
Good prices, free shipping. Good communication
Exactly as expected and fast shipping < br>
Product was smaller then in picture didn't fit . Therefore product is useless for me disappointing.
Excellent quality and reasonable priced
