Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this K-source replacement side view mirror. This is gonna be a direct replacement for the passenger side factory mirror on your 2017 NEWER Honda CR-V. This is going to be modeled after your CR-Vs original look and fit. So, you really shouldn't be able to tell that it's a replacement mirror.
It should look like it came with your CR-V, right from the factory. So, you don't have to worry about that piece together from the junkyard sort of look it's all gonna look very integrated and seamless, for you, and because it does have the same footprint. It's gonna be very easy to get installed. You're not gonna have to do your drilling or anything like that. Basically just remove the original put this one in its place, get it plugged into that same plug that the original was in and you'll be ready to go.
So, definitely something you can do on your own. You don't need to pay a mechanic to do it or anything like that. This is gonna be capable. It's gonna work with the power remote capabilities so that you can adjust the mirror face position inside your vehicle. It's also got the heated mirror glass.
That's gonna help clear frost and ice and reduce fogging. On the backside here it does have that Amber light that will activate when your turn signal is on. And it also has the blind spot detection system. So, it's going to alert the driver if there is a vehicle in your blind spot. So, all those features of course, are only going to work if your vehicle is already equipped with those.
So, if your original could do that this one will do that as well but it's not going to add that functionality to a vehicle that isn't capable already. So, the one thing that this does not have is the camera function. So, if your original had the camera functionality to it and might be a little bit of a, a downgrade for you won't be quite all the functional or all the features as the original, but it does have a lot of those. So, it is gonna be really great option for you to replace that original. This does have the same OE grade quality components. The front of the glass is plated with a reflective Chrome. So, you're gonna get a nice, clear image. It is a convex lens which is gonna provide that nice wide angle view for you to help reduce those blind spots. Make sure that you're safe when you're changing lanes backing up and that sort of thing. This does have the breakaway design. So, the mirror's gonna fold in on itself. If you we're to run into the side of your garage or a parking post or something like that to help absorb some of that impact reduce the chance of damaging the mirror. This is a nice, durable plastic housing with a nice smooth black finish this back portion here can actually be painted to match your vehicle. If you want to have an even more integrated look that's an option for you there. So, overall, really nice way to replace that passenger side mirror, help it to look finished help your CRV to look finished again and to give you that safety and functionality that you're used to. Now, for those of you who do need a little bit more reassurance that this is gonna work for you, this is going to replace the original equipment number that you see on the screen there. So if you're going through your owner's manual or when you take off the original mirror if you see that number anywhere you can trust this is gonna be exactly what you need. And this is just the passenger side. I hope you don't need both passenger and driver at the same time, but if you do we do have the driver's side available for you. You can find it here @etrailer.com using that part number that you see on the screen there. So overall, really nice option here to replace the passenger side mirror on your CR-V. So, if you are needing, the original's been damaged, or fell off or something along those lines, this is gonna be exactly what you need. That completes our look for today. Mirror worked out great.installation was straight forward.
However I would think that a fragile object like a mirror could have been packaged better.

Timely arrival, installation is not easy but doable, with basic skills and minimal tools it can be done in a few hours. [online video] helps. Fit great, worked as it should and this guy is happy. Quality is impressive and seems well built; time will tell. Customer service is excellent, emailed them with questions, next day response, convinced me this is a good quality company and wants to keep my business.
The mirrors I ordered are fantastic. The fit are precise and the look and operation are flawless. I am extremely satisfied with them.
Works great had it installed at the dealership. Would not accept my chrome piece that snaps into the back of the mirror, (different tab locations from OEM) but I needed the mirror more than the chrome. Would highly recommend for replacement.
When i ordered the driver side mirror, i was disappointed to find that it did not match my original toyota mirror. Since i only needed to replace one mirror, having to order a passenger side mirror to replace a perfectly good mirror was not ideal. My toyota factory mirror covers do not fit your mirror and your mirror is bigger and is a different shape.
Arrived on time, appears to be a perfect match. Will follow up if any post-install problems. Customer service on the transaction was excellent.
I bought this mirror online a while ago for my Santa Fe sport AWD 2017, when I was buying that time I thought it will have all functions in a same way my old side mirror performing that time. But my BSD system in Car stopped working since the first day of install as this new mirror wont support that Blind Spot detection or this mirror only for heat and signal. Overall, I would like to recommend this mirror.
....although the delivery of the item I ordered was longer than originally committed to by etrailer, when the item finally arrived, the product was as described and a factory replacement for the vehicle.
I was impressed that etrailer matched a competitor's online listed price.

Fits my 2018 Rav4 Adventure. Watched [online] videos on how to replace. Completed the project in about 30 mins. (Pretty easy) Dealership quoted me at ~$500 for the repair and install so saved a lot of money in the long run. Package shipped quick and staff alerted me about shipping every step of the way. Will definitely re-buy from this site the next time I need to make a repair!

etrailer got us a wonderful looking replacement mirror, the electric remote and lights work like new, and the customer service was over-the-top. The dealer wanted $450+ to replace a side mirror on a 2010 Kia, but etrailer's $70 replacement is as good as new, easy to install, and brought my daughter's car back to life. Mirrors for 03 Silverado. Trailer mirrors before removal and the new mirrors I purchased. Power with manual fold, heated and signal in mirror. Easy change and exact fit.
Appears well constructed and perfect fit. Wire harness was perfect. 100% replication of functions. Mirror to door seal may leak over time. Factory seal was thicker, and could not re-use due to minor difference in mirror construction. Also, factory wire harness had a protective snap-in shroud and a few more wires, but does not appear to matter. I would recommend. My truck is 2007 Silverado Classic.
The wiring harness was too short. I had to cut other wiring harness clamps in the door to stretch the whole harness enough to connect the new mirror. It was not a smooth install. I guess I will find out how long it holds out.
Transaction with you was pleasant. However,the after-market product is inferior to the dealer's, in that the HEATING ELEMENT does NOT cover the entire surface of the mirror & takes much longer to work.
