Can K-Source Replacement Mirror Be Used for 2020 Honda CR-V With Memory Function

Yes, you can replace the OEM mirror on your 2020 Honda CR-V with one that has less features. The plugs should be the same as the only difference is the wiring that's present and the mechanism on the inside of the mirrors that operates the memory feature.

Ive been told by a body shop, that even if the plug fits my vehicle, theres a 40 likelihood that there will be a problem with the Blind Spot Detection feature. The fact that the memory function is missing, may mess up the computer/sensors, etc. and cause this problem. Are you able to verify with HONDA on this? Or, have you had any feedback on this? Thanks

The K-Source Replacement Side Mirror # KS68CJ has provisions for the blind spot detection system so this mirror should retain that feature. We haven't checked this with Honda as K-Source is the manufacturer of this mirror and they say that as long as the feature is present on the vehicle then it will work with this mirror. This mirror does come with a 90-Day warranty so if one of the features on this specific mirror isn't working you can take advantage of the warranty. If you want an exact replacement for your current mirror then you'll want to go with the Honda part instead. Here are the functions the K-Source mirror carries - power remote capability, heated glass, turn signal, and blind spot detection system (BSDS). These will only work if your CR-V already has those functions.
