Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this K Source replacement side view mirror. This is gonna be a direct replacement for the driver side factory mirror on your 2017 newer Honda CR-V. This is modeled after your CR-V's original look and fit, so you really shouldn't be able to tell that this is a replacement mirror. It should look like it came with your CR-V right from the factory, so you don't have to worry about that piece-together-from-the-junkyard sort of look.
It should all be very integrated for you. It's got the same footprint as the original, so you're not gonna have to worry about drilling holes or anything like that. Just as simple as taking the old one off, putting this new one in its place, all those bolts are gonna line up properly, and you're gonna have the plug that plugs right into where the original plug was, so very easy to get this switched out on your own. You won't have to have anyone else do it for you, and it will complete your look on your CR-V, but also give you that safety and functionality again. So this mirror does have the power remote capability, so you can adjust the mirror face position with the factory power controls inside your vehicle.
This does also have the heated mirror glass, it's gonna help clear frost and ice and reduce fogging on the side. It is gonna have your amber light, and so, when you activate your turn signal that will flash for you. It does also have the blind spot detection in it, so the sensor will alert the driver if the vehicle is detecting or if there is a vehicle in your blind spot. Now, keep in mind the power remote capability, heated mirror glass, turn signal, and blind spot detection system are only going to work if your vehicle is already capable of doing that. It's not going to add that functionality to a vehicle that didn't have it already.
This mirror does not support the camera function, so if you do have that on your original mirror, you will have a little bit less functionality with this, but obviously still a lot of those same features carrying over for you. This does have the same OE grade quality component, so the front of the glass is plated with a reflective chrome, so you're gonna get a nice, clear image. It is a flat lens, like most of your driver side mirror, so you're gonna get a true representation of the object size as you're changing lanes or backing up, that sort of thing. So it's gonna be nice and safe for you. This mirror does have the breakaway design, so it's going to fold in on itself.
If you we're to run into the side of your garage, or bump into a parking post or something like that to help, it's gonna fold in to help absorb some of that impact and deter breakage, but it is a nice durable plastic housing with this smooth black finish that's gonna look really good on your vehicle, so if you are looking for a replacement for your driver side mirror, this is gonna do a really good job for you. This back portion here can also be painted to better match the rest of your vehicle, so again, you have that integrated look, in addition to the safety of having that mirror in place again. Now, for those of you who do need a little bit more reassurance that this is gonna work for your CR-V, this is going to replace the Original Equipment Number that you see on the screen there, so if you go through your owner's manual, you can see that number, or if you're pulling off the original, you see that number anywhere, you can trust this is gonna be exactly what you need, but this is just the driver side mirror. Hopefully you don't need driver side and passenger side, but if you do, we do have the passenger side available for you here at etrailer.com. Timely arrival, installation is not easy but doable, with basic skills and minimal tools it can be done in a few hours. [online video] helps. Fit great, worked as it should and this guy is happy. Quality is impressive and seems well built; time will tell. Customer service is excellent, emailed them with questions, next day response, convinced me this is a good quality company and wants to keep my business.

Works great had it installed at the dealership. Would not accept my chrome piece that snaps into the back of the mirror, (different tab locations from OEM) but I needed the mirror more than the chrome. Would highly recommend for replacement.
When i ordered the driver side mirror, i was disappointed to find that it did not match my original toyota mirror. Since i only needed to replace one mirror, having to order a passenger side mirror to replace a perfectly good mirror was not ideal. My toyota factory mirror covers do not fit your mirror and your mirror is bigger and is a different shape.
Arrived on time, appears to be a perfect match. Will follow up if any post-install problems. Customer service on the transaction was excellent.
I bought this mirror online a while ago for my Santa Fe sport AWD 2017, when I was buying that time I thought it will have all functions in a same way my old side mirror performing that time. But my BSD system in Car stopped working since the first day of install as this new mirror wont support that Blind Spot detection or this mirror only for heat and signal. Overall, I would like to recommend this mirror.
....although the delivery of the item I ordered was longer than originally committed to by etrailer, when the item finally arrived, the product was as described and a factory replacement for the vehicle.

Fits my 2018 Rav4 Adventure. Watched [online] videos on how to replace. Completed the project in about 30 mins. Mirrors for 03 Silverado. Trailer mirrors before removal and the new mirrors I purchased. Power with manual fold, heated and signal in mirror. Easy change and exact fit.
Appears well constructed and perfect fit. Wire harness was perfect. 100% replication of functions. Mirror to door seal may leak over time. Factory seal was thicker, and could not re-use due to minor difference in mirror construction. Also, factory wire harness had a protective snap-in shroud and a few more wires, but does not appear to matter. I would recommend. My truck is 2007 Silverado Classic.
Screw is too long and will damage the door gasket if you don't cut it down.
Looks identical to OEM part. Installed easily after watching you tube video. Dealer price for same thing was $850 vs $XXX here.
