Michael: Hi, there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the K-Source replacement side mirror. This is going to be a direct replacement for the passenger side view mirror on your 2012 through 2019 Nissan NV 1500, 2500, and 3500. It's modeled after the Nissan's original look and fit, so no one's really going to be able to tell that this is a replacement mirror. It's going to look like it came with your vehicle, right from the factory.It does have the power remote capability.
So we're going to be able to adjust our mirror face position with the factory power controls inside your vehicle as long as your vehicle already has that function. We've got the built-in spotter mirror, which is going to help minimize our blind spots so we can see everything that's coming up behind us, help reduce any sort of accidents, changing lanes and someone else is there.It is an OE grade, so it's going to have the same quality as the mirror that came with your vehicle from the factory. The front of the glass is plated with a reflective chrome, so you're going to get a nice, clear image, and it does have a convex lens, which is going to provide the wide angle view to help reduce your blind spots, again.It does have the breakaway design as well. So if you we're to, say, run into the side of a garage or anything like that, it's going to fold to help prevent any sort of damage to the mirror itself. This does have a durable plastic housing, so it's going to hold up well.
It's got the textured black finish, just like the original. It's going to be very easy to install. It's got the same footprint and mounting points as your factory mirror. So basically, you can just take off the mirror that came with your vehicle, slide this on. We're even going to have the same plugs to get this hooked up to our power remote capabilities.Now, for those of you who like being in the details, the original equipment that this is going to replace is part number 963011PA7E.
This does just come with the one passenger side mirror. If you need the driver's side as well, you can pick that up using a separate part number. And this does come with a 90-day warranty from K-Source. That's going to complete our look at the K-Source replacement side mirror.
